from what i've seen, it's mostly a bunch of people sitting around bashing each other-
like troglodytes that (god forbid) figured out how to use a keyboard.

This board is most typically the same six people bashing eachother.

In between all the childish antics - occasionally there is a topic worthy of discussion; even then sometimes things get sidetracked into nonsensical banter. Just the nature of this beast.

We are missing a substantial amount of personalities that made this board interesting. That coupled with the elimination of multiple aliases has further crippled the boards.

The GD Board has made somewhat of a resurgence (primarily by volume), but most of the regional boards are still boring and devoid of real discussions.
