A: No, this is not discreet, as they are PUBLIC. However, PUBLIC provider websites aren’t discreet either, but both reviews and websites are a necessary evil to many.

A: Sure, IF the feed is marked PRIVATE. PUBLIC feeds are not discreet…and neither are providers who discuss BCD affairs via social network sites, their website and any other venue. Shhh…there's so many other things to talk about.

A: Yes, this is critical to being discreet, as is completely wiping everything periodically.

A: This is only discreet IF done in code without identifying information…but the best way to be discreet is to not retain information at all.

A whole lot of providers and clients alike toss out the word "discretion".

the screening & first meeting between provider & hobbyist. Both parties have to be very discreet about discussing $ & "services", for obvious reasons. If the screening comes off,& there is a hobbyist-provider meeting, further discretion is needed, particularly if the provider requests an envelope, for example.
If the inital meeting goes well & both parties want to repeat, discretion can be relaxed somewhat & both parties "can let down their hair".

I believe this is a Mutual understanding of both parties... We all should be aware of what may happen is we don't keep it in the back of our heads. Practice this no matter what. I do!
For me it's a balance and I mean, also being discrete-so we both can enjoy our time without looking over our shoulder. Specially when were out on the Town. Or when I go visit him at a Hotel.
Main reson I hide my face... I want him to enjoy every min of our date-Without him worrying about his colleagues or anyone for that matter Inquiring who he was with.
I try Not to get attention while Im out on my dates. However, its hard not too. I think that sometimes some Ladies/gents forget how important this matter is to some of us. That have a Life away from the Hobby.

For me it means I do not contact the client via phone or email unless I am asked to, I do not cause attention to us when we are out... I do not disclose details of our date with other providers.

Players in the hobby seem to have a floating description of discretion. When busted, they will give you up like flies on shit at a picnic if that serves their means. When they get pissed they'll out you or threaten to tell your family. Discretion is a sucker's bet. Play hard and have fun, but know that anyone will give you up if it means saving their own asses.

I agree both sides should do everything they can to be discrete and to help protect the other person, for in so doing they protect themselves. However I disagree with your universal statement that everyone will give up their dates under pressure.
The main reason I have not posted a review in a long time is wrapped up in this "discretion" word. I have become quite comfortable with a handful of ladies who do not advertise much--some not at all--but have stellar reputations from their previous body of work--pun fully intended. These ladies see almost exclusively repeat gentlemen or those who are recommended by word of mouth.
That allows a level of discretion generally not available on first or second--or fifth--meetings. And the familiarity leads to a greater level of concern for each other. Some of them have gone to trial because they refused to roll on any of their dates. Fortunately both were acquitted, both with financial help from the appreciative gentlemen--and in one case one of her dates was also her defense lawyer. Another refused to cooperate by naming one of her well known partners, knowing full well it would cause her to be outed to her family and her boss—the DA was a complete slime of a human being and made sure she was outed and lost her job over it.
Some ladies do take discretion much more seriously. As a result they attract a set of clients who are willing to pay for that added discretion. It has not hurt their business.
In my mind this works only in small well established subcultures of the bigger escorting culture. It is certainly a small fraction, but I wanted to point out not all the ladies fit your mold.
