IMO diet plays a much larger role in weight loss or gain. You can workout everyday but if your diet is shit or so so you will see minimal gain if any. This is escpeciallly true if your 35 and older. The body can only take in so many calories and burn so much from a workout. The key is to monitor what you consume and the only way to do that is to record what you eat. Think about it, if your body only needs 2000 to live (not including any exercise) and you routinely eat 2200 calories a day the excess will be stored as fat. Conversely, if you modify your diet and start eating 1800 calories PLUS you burn additional calories with exercise you will slowly start to lose weight in a healthy way. Even if you don't work out eating less than what you need will show weight loss, although at a slower pace. Just my 2 cents.
A person can easily eat enough to power them through a marathon. No way can you work off pounds if you don't limit your intake. Count calories, set daily limits.
all three components of fitness:
Strength (Weightlifting)
Endurance (Cardio)
Flexibility (Stretching, yoga)
Not only will you feel more energetic, but sex will be a whole lot better. Counting calories is a little too extreme for me. If I lose a few pounds one week, I increase my intake a little. If I gain a few pounds, I eat less or skip lunches for a few days. I haven't fluctuated up or down more then 3 pounds in 25 years. Avoid sugar. Use Stevia or one of the sugar alcohols.

For me, I use IF, or intermittent fasting. Basically, I eat two meals a day and I specifically skip breakfast. This leads to you eating far fewer calories without feeling like you're starving. In addition to that, I lift 3x a week and run about 10k a week. I don't eat clean, or even try to. I don't tend to like pounding sugar and soda, so I basically eat whatever I want and I'm fine.
Back when I was fresh out of college and gainfully employed, I was a healthy weight with a BMI of 23 or so, but quickly ballooned to an unhealthy weight because I ate and drank like a king and wasn't working out so my peak BMI was 30. I certainly noticed less positive female attention, which got me into game theory and general 'redpill' ideas, part of which is, you need to take care of yourself, for yourself. With IF, I'm down to a stable BMI of 24.5 which is very comfortable. I could shred out and cut without too much trouble, but I don't really see the need to. I'm ~30 and having no issues dating/banging/getting attention from women that I'm interested in, and I like they guy staring back at me in the mirror. I'd hope that every guy here would respect themselves enough to strive for that.
I usually fast between Lunch and Dinner.

42 years old here.. I work a lot, sleep little.. manage 150 employees and 10 managers.. stress has taken a toll on me and while I used to work out a lot and be in great shape.. the past 5 years I've let myself go.. the result.. 50 pounds to lose...An while I pay, I also do not want the ladies to be disgusted by me...plus I started to have sleep apnea, bad blood pressure depression and this simply had to stop.. so 5 months ago I started to do:
Intermitent fasting. I eat from noon to 8pm only. I cheat one day a week
Cut most sugar etcs... eat a lot more greens. Cut back on portion size of meats. I count my macros weekly.
Exercise. Check out Jim Stopanni's website. I love his shortcut to shred site.
Testosterone therapy.
I lost 40 pounds. I feel a lot better. My gut has shrunk drastically. I want to lose an other 30 pounds and I will by then be in great shape. It is hard to start but it is a good feeling.

I would suggest a steady diet of pussy. Its a wonder food that requires more calories to consume
than it provides.
Try this for quick weight loss:
Day 1 total solid food fast but drink as much water as you wish.
Day 2 pussy eating only plus as much water as you wish
Day 3 As much pussy as you can eat but mix in some salad tossing for ruffage and as much water as you like.
