Cons, It at least doubles the price of the date, and there are PLENTY of gorgeous local girls that I will never get around to fucking. I just don't see the point.  

 
Maybe it's just a factor of having seen so many women in my life, I just don't get all worked up about any woman that I only know by her online presence. I can't imagine scheduling a multi hour or overnight date with a local girl that I hadn't met much less flying a stranger half way across the country. If you have ever struggled to get through a two hour date with a person you don't "click" with I am sure you can just imagine spending thousands of dollars to fly out a complete stranger only to find out that you are like oil and water with her.

 
Now I suppose I would "consider" flying out a girl who I had seen before and had a great time with. I have flown out ex GF's to come see me when either they or I have moved to another state, and a couple of them were hookers or ex hookers so I guess I actually have done a FMTY a few times, but none of the actual visits were "On the Clock"

I don't have the time money or energy to see even a fraction of the local ladies that catch my eye.  Occasionally somebody will mention an out of town girl that is a must see.  I would occasionally reach out to such lady and inquire when she will be touring to my town.  If not, well such is life.

I travel for work and would fly out my ATF when I attended conferences or meetings and just stay an extra day.  We had a very good rapport so just being able to relax with someone without time constraints and see a new city were worth it for me.  I wouldn't recommend with someone you've seen once or twice.  Sadly my ATF has retired so I doubt I will ever have the same comfort level to do it again.

It's one way to make sure your date isn't a no-show due to traffic I guess.

unless you are so rich, you light your $50 cigars with $100 bills.  I was tempted ONE time when I was in Vegas.  There was a convention in town which I was not a part of, and all the ladies I knew were already booked up.  I thought about bringing in a girl from LA, but decided I would take my chances after calculating it would cost me about $4-5000 for an overnight with fees and expenses.  Fortunately, a girl I knew had a last-minute cancellation, texted me, and I was able to take his place.  2 hours for $800!!!  I saved a ton.

I myself have NEVER done a “FMTY,” as, in agreement with the previous posters, I agree there’s just too much LOCAL talent.  Besides, travel “expenses” cut into “playtime” funds.

Nah, once was enough but she was worth it. She lived in LA as I do, But seeing that I don't get out much in LA, we decided to meet in Vegas.She was someone who just had that look that I am drawn to. It was one of those YOLO moments that took me over. I flew her in, she stayed the night, and she left in the morning,Now I just do the DMTY....ladies in the OC will now visit me while I'm in Vegas..and yes they drive there.

I LOVE to travel and because of this I think I probably have one of cheapest travel rates. I have been to CA, FL, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Ireland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria. A regular client of mine is taking me to South Africa to celebrate my 40th this year. I request $500 a day plus all my travel expenses. I get to see the world, get laid, and get paid!!!!
