When I see a provider I want the provider to be in the present.

Continuing the acting theme, I am not big on drama in the hobby.  No bigger turn off than a battle on the boards.

and yada,yada,yada, many roles, etc.

We all act, so let's not get into the what is real vs what is an act.

I majored in philosphy so bin dere, done dat.

All that really counts is what you see, feel, hear, smell and taste when you're with a gal.

If you like it, fine.  If not, go fish.

What do you prefer? The provider puts on an act, or that the provider is herself. Can you tell the difference?

Yes, I can tell the difference. I really hate the overacting, fake O's with yelps and the "oh yes" screams.  

On the contrary I once saw a provider that hated her job, and she made no bones about it. Her incessant "cum for me" with her eyes clinched tight was a total turn off. She had some acting skills, which she somehow found when she asked for a tip, just before I threw her out.

I'd rather she be real, rather than obviously faking it.

I've always thought that a provider should act when she needs to and not act when she doesn't need to. You have your good days and you have your bad days.

I want a provider to be herself only if she is a bubbly, sexy, fun person who is really into sex & loves to fuck a total stranger no matter what size, shape or color he maybe.
Otherwise, I prefer a good & believable acting job.   But yes, a bad acting is the worst option.

....it's all an act. That's what we pay for. Skilled providers can figure a guy out in about ten minutes or may have even figured him out through emails and phone calls before they meet.

It simply isn't possible for a woman to be enthusiastic and affectionate with just about every client but that's what the best show us during a session.

and addicting, sometimes I lose myself and it gets scary.  Then I wind up slapping my self sober.  But they're the ones I repeat with.

The actresses are cool too, the good ones.  Had one Sunday that really had me convinced that if I didn't do her one more time she wouldn't survive.  I was going through my mind, "maybe she takes credit cards, I can get paypal on my phone".  I finally asked her if it was OK to leave, she immediately dropped out of role for 5 seconds, tapped me on the thigh, "sure Hon, your OK", then immediately went back into the screaming nympho routine, pulling at my clothes as I was leaving, using a toy on herself, it was pretty fucking hot way to end a session.

If by acting you mean the cheezy Cinemax softcore porn acting...then forget it.  That kinda fake crap really turns me off....But if by acting you mean putting on a smile, and doing her best to make me believe she wants me there, etc. then YES.
