I have received about 200 emails from cityvibe in the last 36 hours about them wanting my info for some ad or something.

Now I know its not them but how can i make it stop!!!! it is crazy!

Is this happening to any one else? does cityvibe know and are they going to be able to fix it???

thanks for your help and thoughts!
XOXO

Yes, Ive received both CityVibe and Eros ad emails requesting info...my inbox was littered with over 100 of the same header with different names...It's a scam and potentially an email virus. The Eros one was easy to spot as the @ was different than the authentic email once it was opened.

Check out the Los Angeles board for some posts from ladies about this. Some sort of fraud most likely.

Providers - it's a scam.  Messages are coming from all kinds of web sites.

DO NOT OPEN any unexpected attachements.  It is probably a virus - I'm not dumb enough to find out - don't you be either..

I've been in contact with the admin of several sites the past two days.  They are tracking the source.

Best,
TS Jamie
