On occasion I'll get a very non--refundable specific PM from a local or visiting provider. Not the usual ladies I chat with or because of a post I put up. The most recent was because I am a top poster on our local (I assumed) board.

It is certainly not a big deal, and I interpret this as a lady possibly reaching out with a little low key marketing, which is fine.

My question is, if you do this, have you pre-screened the guy in the event he contacts you for a meeting? In the times I have done this (usually it's banter over a post, which leads to a meeting) I have never been asked to provide information for screening.

I just thought of this one... Slightly related to this, and depending on how brave you are... Do you have wish lists of online folks you want, or try, to meet?

I have never toured and am ready to get my feet wet in different Florida areas.  Many gentlemen have sent me a PM or e-mail asking to visit their area through my time on TER (three years worth)

Should I or shouldn't I send them a note letting them know I am coming their way.

They have already expressed their interest in you... it's entirely appropriate to use the PM system to let them know of a potential visit.

Advertise as well on your regional board, of course.

If you or the client believe that the sessions may be recurring, at the close of a session just ask about how he would like to possibly communicate?  The only stupid question is one never asked.  Also, be as specific and thorough as you can with the face to face communications.

I look at who you have reviewed, if I know her, I will send her a quick email or pm and ask, hey, did you see him, etc...
that way, if you get around to seeing me, its already been done,
but I should add, I only do this if the man asks about my availability, or shows some definite interest. I dont just do it to be nosy, I have more fun things to do, then poke around!

I've never done this before.  The only time I contact a gentleman is only after he e mailded or left a voice message asking me to contact him.  I don't do cold calls or cold e mails, I feel if someone is interested in me, he will contact me himself, I have a ton of ads out there and I'm all over the internet.

If a guy is putting feelers out there, and I think I could be of assistance or what he may be looking for, I may send a cute note. I definitely check out his review history first before I do that.
