Dec 10th: A Day Without Gay

Gays are taking the day off work to "donate time to a variety of different causes" tomorrow.  Who came up with this idea in this economy?  Gee, employers are looking to cut employees, so take a day off for sexual preference reasons?

In any case, don't take tomorrow off, or else you will look Homosexual to your boss.  And if your boss takes the day off, you might have some leverage for job security.

We should take a day off from the hobby and donate time to some other causes.  I have a lot of experience stuffing envelopes.

Then we will go back to getting holy week off... Ash Wednesday, Maundythursday, good friday etc....

Jews of course will get passover,
Me???  I'll take san Jacinto day...
Mexicans will have Cinco de Mayo
The brits will take Guy Faulks.
The French can have Bastille....
blacks will have quansa & ML King day
Football fans will celebrate superbowl week...
and so on - and so on...

I mean how much less productive can we get... oh, wait - I know, we're trying our best to be like the you're-a-peeings.... ya know, where they take the entire month of August off... December is also a wash....

yeesh....  As australia, canada, new Zealand are all following this treand as well... is there anyplace sane left????

Everyone has a "day, week,  month" or time that is sacred or at least honored by them - and they are all NOT the same day...  in the words of the old Harry Nilsson song... a point in every direction is the same as no point a'tall....

In short, all these days taken - makes a holiday less special - in addition to cutting into the productivity.

Bisexuals should have a day off, even if we're not quite sure. Then, we could all come out of the closet, go back into the closet, come out of the closet, etc. Boy! That would take all day. :)
