Twice that I can think of, both a while ago. Both times BP girls that I didn't Xref against TER. Little head just commanded me to dial the damn phone number. Both times a date was set up with time and rough location, second call once I got there for room number (per usual). Both times got there and called and texted multiple times, waited up to an hour, calling every 15 minutes, then left.
Pissed me off something fierce; can understand a provider getting upset at a NC/NS, they deferred other potential income for the no-show.
As I was sitting there fuming each time, I was thinking "Would I want to go into the session as pissed off as I am, anyway?" "How long is appropriate to wait?" Tried to think of legit reasons that they weren't answering, screwed myself up into more of a tizzy.
Moral of story, Xref TER, make sure the provider is legit and reputable.
To the ladies - What is a reasonable amount of time to wait outside on a confirmed date?
Also, I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the most laid-back person - I'm early to exactly on time for any meeting P4P, business or personal. But one thing that annoys me is having a date/time set, getting there on time, texting for room # and getting told "10 more minutes", then after 10 more minutes it's "just 5 more minutes", until finally it's "Come on up" 20 minutes or more after the scheduled time. I've taken vacation from work to come see you, and respected you by not calling in early to disturb you. When I get pushed back in time, it feels like you are being disrespectful of me and my time and I find it unprofessional. Just wanted to get that off my chest.
