I remember a humorous quote about the number of words a lady used when talking . It said something to the effect, "She talks at the rate of 120 words per minute with gusts up to 160."

Another more serious quote was with regard to the number of words per day that guys use which was approximately 15,000 as compared to ladies using 30,000.

That said, I was with a provider the other day who apparently was trying to get her 30,000 word quota in during the course of my one hour session. The only time she didn't talk was while she was sucking on my ... well you know. I finally realized I didn't need to say anything, she just needed to talk. So other than "that time" I just let her rattle. It didn't seem to other wise impede her performance.

That said, ladies do you think about how much you talk during a session? Are their some guys that you spill your life out to while with others you don't say much. I am just curious. I am capable of holding up my own end of the conversation but sometimes it seems that is not necessary.

talk and talk and talk sometimes.  I don't usually share my personally life unless we are engaged in a conversation and it somehow comes up.  And then I only go into details if I feel comfortable with the person I am with.  I do however, enjoy a good conversation about what is going on in the news, new events in town, or just average everyday happenings.  Sometimes I may share a small portion of past dates, but once again only if promted and never in depth as I think that kills the whole client/provider confidentiality thing.  But as you can see, I do like to talk LOL.  Do I let it interrupt our session, no.  Do I watch the clock when I am talking, no.  So most of the time, if I do talk a lot my friends tend to get longer sessions because I don't want anyone to feel it's all about meeeeeeee.  hehehehehehe.

Don't get me wrong though, I do like some conversation before engaging in other activities.  It makes things flow a bit easier, IMO.  But if it turns into a long conversation then I usually just ignore the time and conduct myself accordingly.  But then again, I think I'm usually that way all the time LOL.  The clock has never been of importance to me since I quit working for the agency.
