Ddos

In the modern day and age companies typically pay a third party like cloudflare or any other reverse proxy vendor to enable ddos protection.

What this means if there is a ddos attack (by its nature it's a huge amount of requests sent to an endpoint overwhelming it in some manner) the attack won't target the server itself but the proxy vendors entry point, which typically has
sophisticated ddos measures and protections.

If you do a nslookup on theeroticreview.com you will find that they use cloudflare. So they are using cloudflare cdn and it's very likely they are using cloudflare proxy.

nslookup theeroticreview.com

Name: theeroticreview.com
Addresses: 104.20.8.251
104.20.9.251

These are cloudflare name servers.

The other site, I just checked does not use cloudflare and uses a data center in Malaysia.

Tl;dr: I think ter is more resilient to ddos attacks than the other site. Hell, the other site doesn't even do https.

Another site (IYKYK) is currently battling a DDoS attack purportedly out of China. Hopefully it's not a trend.

Now they are using imperva for both reverse proxy and nameservers. And there's an annoying cаptcha now every time you login via VPN

Every site is vulnerable to a cyber attack.

Even Cloudflare protected sites are vulnerable to cyber attacks.

DDoS is the least of your worries for a site like this. Tread lightly and cover your tracks. TER can only do so much. Zero Day attacks abound.
