"Date" vs "Session"

If a provider makes our time feel like a "date" instead of a "session", I'll become a regular. For some providers it's so difficult to understand this simple fact. For example, I saw a gal for the first time recently, she sent a text asking when I would return to see her. My reply was NEVER as I did not want to be made to feel like a "john". She was not return worthy IMHO!

is what made you feel like a "john", or was that a result of being dissatisfied with your last session?

If the latter, then what was specifically wrong with it?

While I agree with your assessment of what makes a gal a keeper I really don't see the point in being so antagonistic toward the lady.  What exactly is gained by that?

Sure, either one of you can prevent a meeting from feeling like a date, but for it to click, don't both of you have to make that happen together?

So there are a lot of reasons why it may not feel like a date to you, and the approach of the provider is just one of them.

Out of curiosity, if you had to choose between a woman who made you feel great, fucked you happy and silly every time, but did not socialize with you much if at all, left you feeling like it was nothing more than a great, paid performance, and another who did not really turn you on as much or as consistently, who would you see? For me it is not a hypothetical question, and the answer is - both. I am okay with being a john, so long as I am a very well-treated and appreciated john.

How does she market herself and who does she market herself to?

Would you take a Bentley to jiffy lub, and expect them not to fuck it up?

one hour incall appointment is a session.

four hour dinner date is a date.

If you want ambiance, experience and illusion of a date, book dates.

especially if the lady is on tight time schedule.

Like I said, longer engagements are better suited for a date.

Makes perfect sense. Some guys have very high expectations for short sessions. For example: 30 Minute & Hourly sessions are just that!

have chemsitry and sometimes they dont.  Maybe you and the "texting lady" just didnt have the chemistry it takes to feel like a date instead of a session ;)
Cant have that feeling with everyone Im sure. The ones you do have this great chemistry with, hang on to them.
Best to you!

All "sessions" should feel like "dates". It does't matter if a gentleman books me for an hour or an entire weekend. He will get the same ambiance and experience. Some experiences just may be shorter lived than others. If a lady is not able to make a shorter "session" feel like a "date", then maybe she shouldn't offer shorter "sessions". This may be a reason some ladies only offer two hour or longer engagements.

Obviously, I know the game at hand, but it's never as fun, when the hour(s) feel like a session.

guys psych yourselves out who cares, did you have fun or not??? No need to over rationalize. Either she does it for you and knocks your socks off or she doesn't.

The better actress she is, the more business she gets, but for me the acting needs to be more than an AVN worthy performance in the bedroom.  That's always nice, but we all know it's not realistic. (Really she had 8 screaming orgasms in 90 minutes...You were THAT good?)

Of course the reality is you can't even begin to be 'real' in an hour or less.  That type of 'session' is just that.  If you want a date that has potential to be believable, you need to at least have dinner before you have dessert.  But it usually isn't until the 2nd or 3rd time or after an overnight or two, that the Oscar/Tony/Golden Globe can be awarded.  If she is still convincing after 4+ extended 'dates', then I'm hooked.

Of course the flip side is when it gets too real and she starts dumping all the baggage that should have been check curbside in the bedroom, and everywhere else.  There's a fine line between realistic and real.  Unless she has her sh!t together, I'm usually content with realistic, but every once in a while, a real one comes along that has a change to break the bank.  Now that can be quite a ride.

For me, it's more accurate to say that if I connect with a provider, then I am more likely to repeat with her.  Had a session with a $600/hour drop-dead gorgeous girl that was decent in session.  I didn't click with her personally.  Have no desire to see her again.

My ATF now is attractive but if you put her pics against those of the girl who I saw for $600, you wouldn't see it.  But if you had a session with her, you would probably pick her all day and go bankrupt in the process.

Salon,

Same here!! It's HOW the provider makes it all work for both parties. It's her job, you know?

It's kind of like the difference between WalMart and Macys. Folks at Macys KNOW what they are doing and do a good job of it, however on the other side, WalMart folks more than likely do NOT care about their job and it will show through.

Crazy,

Exactly right! One of my ATF is not the hottest model gal, but she sure does KNOW how to treat a guy right and make that time feel like a date. She's one of a kind and a keeper!

You said in your OP that, “For some providers it's so difficult to understand this simple fact”

So, you either ‘feel like’ it was a date. Or you feel like she has treated you like a “john”.

While one possibility is that she “just doesn’t understand this simple fact”. Another, equally plausible, explanation is that she was not sure exactly what you wanted. There's a difference between being intuitive, and being a clairvoyant mind reader.

Even the most intuitive can’t accurately read everyone. And, mind readers don’t exist. And…sometimes people just don’t ‘click’.

So, what is that ‘je ne sais quoi for you?

But good very question.

For me, it could come down to the fact that we both have similar backgrounds.  Or we could find out that we love the same things outside of me paying for her pussy and her offering it to me.  :)

Seriously, it could be something as simple as a girl liking my personality or me liking the fact that she is very observant and picks up on certain things when we converse.  There is a girl who I have been seeing that falls under this last category.  After speaking with her for about 15 minutes between pops, I found her to be extremely intelligent and worldly, even though she is under 30.  That session turned into about three hours, and she never charged me more money because she didn't have another appointment to go to.  The conversation, in addition to the fact that we clicked a bit during sex, was that certain "je ne sais quoi."

Extra unpaid for time...okay I might be being a tad facetious. In all fairness he did say that she was intelligent and that he enjoyed her company over and above the obvious.

the word date too. A session connotes clock watching, robotic, etc. but a date suggests a relaxing build up with no rush to the finish, even though one has to be somewhat cognitive of the time.

It sounds like you’re describing being with someone with whom you ‘click’---for whatever reason. Or you may feel like a particular provider is able to ‘read-you’ better than others; she is able to pick-up on what kind of responses will please you. Makes sense.

One could also take from your comment that a provider who spends a lot of extra time with you, without charging you for it is part of what distinguishes a “date” from a session. Fair enough.

But, SP said there was some simple fact that not all providers “get”. And he will NEVER see a provider a 2nd time if she doesn't get---whatever this is. This could mean anything from: He doesn’t click with some providers…...to...... he saw  her peek at the clock….. to….. she was talking on the phone and watching TV while giving him a BJ.....lol….

The whole GFE concept is pretty intangible to begin with. I’m just wondering what he thinks this simple “fact” is.

The providers would be acting that way, and we would be broke.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), everyone is pretty different.  And that's what makes a market.
