sigh. if one were to take the time to go back and read all those posts....i was known for my extreme sarcasm. (hint...that hasn't changed)

but i do like the big happy family thing. it is very awesome..and helpful. I was serious when i posted the original post.

kinda shocked you took the time to look up those stats. darn it. i was going to have fun with the whole "newbie" thing.

*going back to my corner to continue lurking*

You know, I've never had any complaints but this kinda makes me wonder...just a random Sunday evening thought.

a good FB of mine the other day were messing around and i whip out my trusty bottle of silicone lube to make the BJ messier/sloppier. (what can i say, i like it sloppy super soaker style. if nothing is running down my chin, its not messy enough) When I whipped it out, the most amazing thing happened (amazing because i can't believe he said this)
"i don't like lube during BJ's....it desensitizes my dick." o.O

ookkayyy......maybe i'm slow on the uptake but i can't find anywhere that states silicone based lube can desensitize a dick. I've never had anyone say that. Maybe he wanted to cum quick (thus, cheating me out of getting mine). Maybe he was just being a jerk that day. Instead of pointing out to him that the brand of lube i use isn't meant for desensitization (and pointing out that he is full of bs) I put it away and made a mental note to ask around about this matter.

so, my question is this....(and i know its a YMMV type thing)
does anyone know if silicone based lube can cause loss of sensitivity? has it happened to anyone? I know the warming/cooling lubes/lotions can cause this....but not a regular silicone based lube.

might have to find a new FB.....if he doesn't like it "slip and slide" style then he and i cant be friends. smh and oh well.

thanks all and have a great week!

The one time I allowed it, she was taking a shortcut in an effort to make me cum faster and for her to use more hand then mouth. The lazy way out. I think I gave her a 4 in performance.

As far as desensitizing, for me it is just the opposite but it could be that he prefers more friction.

kinda defeats the purpose of a bj.

but that could be just me. thanks for the reply as it reminded me of something else. lol.

thanks

...he just meant it didn't feel the same as without & he preferred without. As the previous poster suggested maybe he likes more friction.

I've never had anyone use lube for BJ & don't see a reason for it. I know there are ladies that do enjoy giving a BJ but it seems to me the BJ is for him. Within your boundaries I'd say do it the way he likes it. I'd expect him to DATY the way you like it.

...and no I've never heard of regular lube causing desensitization.

that i edited this one too.

:)

Except for a nuru massage..."F" that

It really has nothing to do with WHICH brand or type lube you are using.  Any lube will cause the problem.

Of course if your dick is only 4 or 5 inches and really thin, you might not know this! ;)

"Q:  "Do you use any lubricant on your swords?"

A:  Many of us sword swallowers prefer our swords "au natural". We don't use anything on our swords or on our throats. Unless our throats are extremely dry, the saliva in the throat is usually lubricant enough to help the sword slide down.

Most sword swallowers, however, prefer to lick their swords with a little saliva to libricate them so they are not quite so dry before they swallow them.

Other sword swallowers use cooking oil, olive oil, or Japanese Kurobara Camellia oil to help the sword slide down. Some of us also use oils on our blades after the performance to help keep our blades lubricated and to protect them from pitting and rusting.

With all the toppings?

What's for dessert?  Clam chowder soup...seriously?  Do I have to eat it?

is that I should think before I post. typical newbie mistake to post something before thinking of all the ramifications. Can't post every random thing that pops in my head.

I should use ObamaCare to keep my vagina and mouth as naturally wet as possible...good use of tax dollars.

Explaining what cotton mouth is about is a great way to lose business/clients. damn, i really messed up with that one. how will i ever bounce back from that??

I guess it would be kinda pointless to post a "justification" or "explanation" or "defense" right? sigh.

stupid stupid noob mistake. this is my first time really posting anything on the GD board so i had no clue.

thanks to all who replied and a special thanks to those who gave me such helpful posting tips!! I will use an alias next time.

have a great week everyone.

Try not to out yourself too quickly...I know it's hard  LOL

Did you find any of those lemmings that I sent you?  I'm sure a few didn't follow the rest.

which sucks donkey. i come out my lurking corner and find one big happy family.

its like....someone warned the lemmings there was a damn cliff ahead...and they veered to the right.

but the original post was posted in seriousness. it was truly a random question i had in mind

Even though P outed you...most "lemmings" don't read that.

Trust me on that.  They just post away as if that big "WARNING...DANGER WILL ROBINSON" sign was not even there.

I can't tell you how often some of my pals put that warning up on my troll threads...and yet..the lemmings still fall into the abyss.

But yep...this is a much friendlier place to play now  :D

wait...what hooker made it to high school??????????

i barely left the 4th grade. explains my horrible math skills. can't seem to divide anything except my legs.

You know...check out how reviews go.

If she is a 6...round to the nearest 10.

Same with educational accomplishments.

And it sounds to me you're working with what's available to make a man feel his best. Its a good question... I figured there may be a dry mouth issue? No bueno. :(

As far as responses on the GD board, no matter what a pro or hob posts, he/she has to be ready to get s*** on this board BC people love to give it.

It's a fun board if used with caution, but feelings can be damaged too. :(

Keep your chin up. :)

and yes I shave my cock, some hair grows on it.

I lose some sensitivity...So I could see this guy having an issue.

you take an actual razor to it or use hair removal cremes? or wax?

i know guys with piercings lose sensitivity fairly quick but haven't heard of anyone shaving their cock.

*adding that to my bucket list of stuff i must see

will eradicate what ever hair that grows up the shaft?

I only shave my balls, to keep the cheese from sticking to them.

Never lube for a BJ...  at least not a BBBJ.  I've had intercourse with too much (high tech) lube and there was no friction & almost impossible to cum without friction.
