When making your decision, do you rely more on the number of positive reviews and the fact that they contain traits about us that you're looking for?

Or does it matter more that the reviews are written by reviewers who have more reviews under their belt?
   
  I'm curious because as someone who mostly stays local to ATX, I haven't gotten a chance to venture out and see many of you (though I really wish I could), and most of my clients never really knew that review sites exist, until they followed links from my ad/website, or they MAY be members on here, but have yet to write a review.

It's not just the number of reviews a reviewer might have, it's also a matter if the reviewer has similar tastes as me, or in the case of a lot of reviewers, whether he has any taste at all. A reviewer might have a hundred reviews to his credit, but if they are all 10-10s his reviews become worthless, or at the other extreme if they are all low scores for $80 BP ho's, that reviewer is also worthless to those of us who play in a different sandbox.

 
OR, If I guy sees 90% Trans providers and has one or two GG reviews, I don't know how to interpret his tastes so he too becomes no help at all to me as well.

 
To me the important things about a review/s are to see if all the reviewers agree her pics are an accurate representation of her looks, are "menu items" like DFK and BBBJ available and enthusiastically provided, and are there are signs of BSC behavior or signs of her being burnt out or getting a bad attitude. The rest of it is just so much chest pounding by guys who want to boast on the internet about how many times he brought her to orgasm.

For example, just focusing on the number of reviews vs. the number of reviews each reviewer has written, I'm more impressed to see a gal who gets good reviews by a couple of reviewers who have written 10 credible (not all 10/10s!) reviews than to see a gal with say 6 reviews by guys who only have written one or two reviews each.

 
Then on the question of whether or not her menu is one to my liking, that's an entirely different matter and would serve as a gate as to whether I would even bother reading all the reviews.  Then there are the questions of looks, cost, their temperament, board presence, age, etc.

 
In a couple of words:  It's complicated.

For some reason BSC only applies to women, not that guys aren't at least as fucked up in the head, but I can't remember a guy ever being called BSC.

It is 100% on who the reviewer is that matters. I know certain hobbyist that I trust that are very honest in there reviews and they know me and will give me the real lowdown if I ask. I will see a lady if she has one positive review from one of these men. Reviews from those I don't know are meaningless. To many fakes, cowards, and the like. If I am not familiar with the credibility of the reviewer the review is useless to me.

I'm not sure how many guys see escorts for the same reasons I do, and seek similar things, but speaking for myself, the amount of reviews isn't as important to me as recent reviews. If there are many reviews but nothing new posted for over a year, I'd pass. Lots of old reviews over a period of time, a two year break and then 3 new ones. Cool.

Positive reviews are a must for me. The reasons I p4p are A) to see women who are younger, and physically more attractive than what I can pull off Bumble or Match.com B) to make appointments to have my fun when I want to make time to fit it into my schedule, and on my terms so to speak, and C) because I can be specific. In real life, I get girls that I make connections with, not the model types who I'd pick out specifically for lust. I like the idea of searching for ladies with D, or DDs and a specific look for example that dress to attract men and arouse men. If I fancy a woman and I'm willing to provide the donation, I can have her. That's addicting.  

The reviews to me, simply let me know if they look like their photos. If the incall was safe and not at some scketchy apartment complex in a questionable neighborhood. That the provider was pleasant and personable, not all business, rude or in a rush and mechanical. They let me know if communicating with her was difficult and flaky or not.

The amount of reviews someone has written is not relevant to me. The way the person writes the reviews is also not relevant to me. I simply comb thru reviews for the tid bits that are relevant to me. I personally don't care about the play by play account of how the guy physically reached his orgasm. It's often difficult to suffer thru long paragraphs of a guys poorly written play by play, reading all the different terms men use to name their penises, just to find out what I'm looking for. I could care less how she grabbed his "captain" and whether or not she pays attention to "the boys."

As long as her reviews paint her as a pleasant person, who's photos are accurate, who offers a safe incall location and has seen a few guys recently to vouch for that, I'm good to go.

I look for a pattern of consistency in reviews since everyone can have off days. I tend to favor providers with a longer review history and I, check back in that history to see if the reviews are again consistent over time. Not a perfect system, but better than  nothing.

and also who wrote the reviews. If a hobbyist who I know personally (especially from M & G or also PM's here) gives a provider a good review I am more likely to count that more heavily than Joe John who I don't know from Adam's house cat.

If a couple of the reviews are within the past 6 months, then it is a go. Over a 100 reviews from a year or more ago means nothing. People change both in appearance (i.e. gain weight) and / or attitude. The same rationale why a provider will not give a reference if she hasn't seen you within a year or even 6 or 8 months.

where I'm working this week say that about a co-worker.  A very descriptive expression.  

It's funny to read everybody's system for screening. I imagine a guy going thru his personal check list and intensive screening process and finally decides SHE IS IT! ...and then you discover she's traveling until the end of the month LOL. Damit!

When I encounter a review by a boy that gives everyone a ten for looks, I immediately discount to zero.

Reviews are a tough one on the provider end as well. I'm glad some of you take all of them as a whole and don't go off a couple bad ones. It is a trust factor though, I have a few that I wish were not on there but nothing I can do about them as long as most of my history and reviews are good I don't worry to much about it. It's the fake ones that drive me nuts. Even if they were a 10/10  They would still drive me nuts. and nobody who writes fake reviews puts in a 10/10. Lol

that nobody who writes a fake review wouldn't submit a 10/10.  I've seen a number of Twitter feeds where ladies have stated they have received an email offering up reviews for a fee.

Yes I have also! I was so heated that someone was offering that. i told them off in a long email.. probably shouldn't have. But It irked me. I hate fake reviews with a passion. just ask the Admins here. I don't give up.... Even though it doesn't get me anywhere. lol But again. It's nice to hear that nobody judges off of one bad review. And that there is a certain respect factor for reviewers who count!
