Saks or Neiman Marcus..

I've read some of the different topics but I haven't seen one where people on here talk about the different terms for "Clients".  I've been doing this off & on for nearly 21 years. And I've always referred to the people(Men, Woman & Couple's) who take my services as "Clients". Is there other safe terms to use besides "Hobbyists"?!!

Date, friend, customer, patron, john (or joan! Hi lopaw!), trick, meal ticket, slobbyist.... It just depends on how you feel about them personally and how you want to portray them in conversation lol.

Personally, I feel that client is simply the most professional option and more than that, it accurately describes the fantastic men and women that I've met.  If I ever felt the urge to call a client a slobbyist, they wouldn't be a client for much longer.  And if I ever start seeing my clients as little more than "meal tickets", then I definitely need to find a new job :)

I actually wrote a thread on the topic way back in September. You should check it out!

I was trying to find a new term to use when I post my ads, because sometimes I get the distinct impression that I am recieving emails or calls from those who are part of law enforcement and I am trying to weave people like that out.

I don't know... I feel like if they're trying to "get" you, what you call your clients isn't going to matter one way or the other lol. Either way, best of luck!

First of all, what kind of screening are you doing? If you are worried about LE, the screening process is the way to weed that out.

Another thing. If you suspect a person is law enforcement, don't answer. When you shoot an email back, they can get your IP and your location.

I don't even reply to emails unless they have some sort of proof that they're legit, and most definitely don't see them if they don't screen.

Getting on the PO board is an ideal thing to discuss these things in more detail too...

But key words... they actually do benefit you, and attract or chase away the clientele you want to attract or chase away. What kind of guys do you want? What would you want guys you see to want to be called? That's a great place to start, because everyone calls themselves something different, so there's no answer again unless you're looking for someone specific. Key words and phrases do help this.

if i were a provider i wouldn't reply to any email that didn't include references in their first email.

even if not le such emails without references are pretty much time wasters.

that's why i always include my ter handle & p411 handle in every introductory email.

If they don't address me by name, or mention anything that identifies me, that's also a sure sign of a mass email... LE? Not sure. But anyone who has the time to mess around with people individually and privately on the net may not be someone I want to be dealing with.

If after three emails, they haven't set a date and confirmed, and agreed to screening, I move on say we're not a match. I give effort to those who give effort toward me, but if they go beyond a couple emails to make a decision, something's not right - or they're fishing for free sexy emails.

Some will email me asking me to start an email chain about fantasies we will do "sometime in the future when I'm back in your town". No. Thank god I rarely deal with that anymore, as people seem to invest in me regularly enough to a little flirting here and there that I really enjoy, instead of feeling taken for granted.

No person, provider or client - should let people dick them around. I may have a bad rep for being cunty and straight forward, and not sweet and soft, but I'd rather have that than the rep of someone people can just bend over and fuck up the ass. If I take a liking to someone and I know they'll be gentle, I may let them fuck me up the ass a little bit after trust is built - but that's because I know if I ask them to stop, they'll stop immediately without feeling insulted.

...not some dude who tries to get the extra benefits of a relationship early on.

(I'm speaking theoretically, don't anybody get any ideas about my outlet. It's closed for business. Unless someone is very special, ;) lol)

I more worry about people taking up my precious energy than LE - but it's kind of like the "don't talk to strangers". I have to know something before I engage in a one on one with some anonymous person on the internet.

...there are often times that an email needs to be sent to clarify a reasonable question or concern before following up with pertinent screening info. There is no way that I will send all of my info if I'm not even sure that our pairing will be a good or even a suitable fit.

To state that all first emails must contain references is not realistic nor applicable in all cases. Any provider that would toss my email for that reason is someone that I wouldn't want to do business with.

Given the names I've been called during my 65 years, it really doesn't matter what they call me, as long as they keep agreeing to see me.

would that all providers felt like that!  and that all clients reciprocated!

Ms. St. Claire,
Maybe you can start using the term libidinal, social and intellectual paramours who hold me in such high esteem that they compensate me for my time.  Those that truly have an immense affinity for me that they must be with me for hours on end.   That way the reasons that they come see you could be as diversed as the personalities themselves and there is no specific reason for why they visit you.

When a lady posted that one of her regulars wanted her to call him her boyfriend instead of client.

As I recall, other suggestions included date, fucktoy, patient, and gentleman caller. I believe some ladies refer to their clients as piggy banks or ATM's, though not to their faces. Not to be too cynical, I know not all providers only see us that way, and I'm sure none of the ladies who hang out here.

The fee is often referred to as a donation, so maybe volunteer worker? Then again, certain sites talk a lot about roses, so maybe florist?

To me, I think hobbyist or client is fine unless it's a regular you have a particularly close relationship with. I think I'd like to be called explorer, as I'm pretty new to this, and having a great time.

I can call you Betty
And Betty when you call me
You call me Al.. Call me Al.

Because I expect it in return, I would treat you with the utmost respect.

Honestly, don't bother.  It doesn't matter if you call yourself a sexual healer and those who pay for your services "patients"..... if LE feel they have enough to press charges, they will.

That is, if you wind up face to face and get arrested then you'll have to fight the charges the same as if your introductory text on your site read, "Hello sex customers!!!"   or "Welcome, all pussy-purchasers!" .
Seriously.  It won't make any difference.

So call 'em friends or fuck-buddies-by-the-hour..... whatever makes you happy and comfortable.  ;-)

NOONER: (noun) A sexual encounter during lunch hour, especially one that is illicit.

I think the term client is respectful. Of course they come in the form of : men, women, couples, animals (just kidding April's fools), but they are seeking a service, therefore they're clients. Just like a provider I would think an accurate term that doesn't offend us would be "escort".

Since my screening requires I know who they are by name, it does make it a bit more personal. I mean, I wouldn't want them to walk in and I say "Hello bbfs4ever!" or "Hello bonordonor!" lol!

I like that because it makes it more personal. I think the same etiquette would go for anything else in life. "What would you call yourself? What are you comfortable with me calling you?"

It's very difficult to be PC here, but once a girl starts targeting a specific clientele, what she calls them depends on what group she's marketing to. They tend to start having similarities. Most dudes I see like being called by their name. But some will refer to themselves as a John, while others will despise the term John. I don't have anyone who calls themselves a hobbyist or monger nowadays, but there was a time that's what all of my clients called themselves.

It's very interesting, so I guess as we evolve, the terms change based on who you're trying to attract and impress..

I agree. I usually give my first name anyway and I like it when she remembers it and uses it with me.

many ladies post ads talking about meeting 'new friends' and 'old friends.'

i like the idea of friends, because i like to think of what i am doing as temporary friends with benefits.

well maybe temp friends w/benefits...

as long as you call me for supper.
