Hi fellas, I was wonder what you think about some of the ladies websites that have music when you enter their web page. I personally did not put music on mine. I think that it mite cause unnecessary attention. Like if your in the office looking or even at home and trying to be discreet

too attention getting.. no way to warn unsuspecting hobbyists at work that it's there.

besides, most of the midi music is awful anyway.

See the link to the discussion.  This person wants to start a new agency and asked for suggestions for her new website.  The one thing everyone agreed on was no sound, or at least an option to turn it off.

Sounds like you already got that worked out.

BTW, I checked your site and you look gorgeous.  If you ever make it to NYC, I'd love to see you.

I think some providers think of music as an accessory like shoes and they just can't resist putting it on the microcosm of themselves called their web site.  Drives me nuts.
If photos of shoes won't take care of the need then please give
 a) an on screen nosound option before the music starts
 b) a warning that sound will start soon
I would even like to have an item on the TER profile that says Web site inflicts sound; Y/N
There is one provider who actually has something playing that I like but even then I usually don't want to hear it unless I choose.
Sorry I am mincing my words so much here, but I am taking a pill to overcome my natural diffidance.

I have to echo the sentiments of those here. For the love of God, no music or voice please, the last thing I want to do is draw attention to my devious acts

I don't need to advertise to surrounding people that I am searching pussy.  And the music, though usually not very good musically, always sounds like a porno wa wa pedal.

Ditto the other guys.  Can the tunes.  Most music played is usually not stuff I would listen to otherwise.  BTW, ladies, ditch all the flash stuff, too.  It just gets in the way and delays seeing what I am really there for.

You are right...last thing I need is to have blaring music from a website when I am perusing at home or worse, in the office

Even if we’re single and accessing the website from the unfettered sanctity of our home we may not be as enamored with the particular music as the purveyor of the site is.

If I want music while I peruse a provider’s/agency’s website I'll click on "Why don't we do it in the road" by the Beatles, or "Whole lotta love" by Led Zeppelin.

I close the website and don't go back.

I agree with you its not discreet - but thats why I always have my volume turned down  lol

And on top of that 9 times out of 10 its cheesy

Thanks guys I also think the music most websites offer is cheesy sounds like the electric organ music you hear at the mall lol.

Give him a button on the opening screen if he'd like musical accompaniment. Otherwise, absolutely not!

same with the click sounds, page transition sounds, cell phone rings, seat belt warning, door ajar warning, toilet seat up ...

I can't wait till I'm deaf ... then I can turn the volume on HIGH for EVERYTHING!!!!

No!  Music makes it difficult to be descrete whether at work or at home.

I rarely even have the sound on anyway.
