Religion always taught peasants having sex is bad and virgins should have sex first with priests and kings. Religion teaches that sex is a bad, bad thing in the eyes of God, which God, I don't know or care. So, naturally, sex will be better without God just because you don't have guilty conscious telling I did something wrong, going to do something bad, doing something bad, etc.
