Well as a retired Navy Chief myself with 22 years and even though ive been retired since 99 i still remember it like yesterday and still feeel sentimental. I know sometimes i act crazy and let my hair grow and dumb stuff but the Navy was the best thing for me and i salute all those before me and all those that were with me and all those that shall go after me. My heart is still with the USS Constellation CV-64 for my time there and for what they did up to the end. She served proudly for 42 years and still had life left when they retired it. Thanks for everyone that recognizes the veterans

I truly AM proud to be an American and I truly AM teary-eyed., lump-in-my-throat grateful that there are those who are willing to put their lives on the line to protect my life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

Wish I could do more.

As I type this several F-18's from a nearby MCAS just flew by, so low and loud that conversations had to stop .... THAT is the sound of Freedom my friends!
