Plagiarism, never thought I'd see this

I just recently submitted a review for a lady Taylor Hogan (TER ID: 331648) that I had been wanting to see for some time now.  I had been checking to see if it had been approved and although slow, it finally got reviewed.  So I check and my review, along with another review had been added.  So I click on the other review from Gentcaller69 and start reading and It is basically a verbatim, chopped up version of the review I wrote.  WTF TER!!!

If it was a different moderator checking each review, then it would be impossible to catch it during the moderation process.

There is probably no easy way to check if the next reviewer plagiarizes previous reviewer other than manual check.  Now imagine if the girl has 25 pages of reviews..  Is TER expected to go thru every review to compare with the one they are approving.. LOL

Just submit a report to TER and you will probably get couple of VIP days out of it, and satisfaction of reporting bad apples amongst us.  If it were up to me, I'd give you 7 days.. But that's just me.

Looks like the other review has been removed?

Not only that, but the post that asked him if was sure about it and included pics of the two reviews for comparison is also gone. I read the reviews when he first posted about the alleged plagiarism and didn't see it that way. I couldn't find anything that was even vaguely plagiarism. I was going to post my confusion, then decided to stay out of it. But something is fishy and now I'd like to know what's going on.

Are you suggesting that someone had access to your review prior to it's approval and publishing?

I read a lot of similar reviews. I check it out and have the same experience. So what? I gotta be Hemingway?

I don’t think so. But it does highlight another flaw in allcomers’ “volunteer reviewers” proposal.

I did not read it like that, although that is one interpretation.

I just thought he was saying someone copied / pasted his review.

Was that the only review by Gentcaller69 or does he have some other reviews out there?

That's what I understood the situation to be also, Curly. As soon as TER approved and posted the review, the plagarizer read it, copied portions of it, tweaked the word somewhat, then submitted his own "review". TER didn't catch the similarities, approved and posted the second review.

There's someone on another review site, who stole my handle and along with 10's of my reviews and mixed in with some of the...How can I say, some who aren't the most desirable ladies around. The asshole copied and pasted my reviews on that pinche chango site..So this ain't shit.
Now I'm getting the "Eww...you saw her?" Yeah that mother fucker tarnished the brand....lol

No, she visited Virginia Beach, VA  before she traveled to Richmond, VA, I wrote and submitted the review the same day I saw her.  I checked to see if it was approved and saw she had another addition review as well and that's how that came about.

cut and pasted on other sites, but not under my name, so its "Ewww, HE saw HER", not me.  Yours is worse.  Lol

I'd like to clarify, too. However, my reply is Not Allowed because my "response is not on topic from the original OP." We all know how important that is around here.

I know you addressed me directly by name, something that in civilized debate gets a reply allowed under any circumstances, but not here. And you know what, I couldn't agree more that the discourse here sometimes is anything but civilized. All too often, actually.

Thanks, for me the timing was not clear so I wasn't sure if you were not saying the two reviews showed up at the same time or not.

I had this happen at EM. I was reading a review for my favorite provider and thought at first, “hmm, this date sounds a lot like one of mine with her.” Halfway through, I realize that the text was my TER review.  I contacted the reviewer asking him what was up. He said he didn’t know what I was talking about. I wasn’t angry but more amused.

You are not alone
Could not get my handle from here on there when TER went down .
Got one close and found that there were multiple reviews on my handle the majority. we’re word for word from here. There were others that were of providers I had never heard of to include a TS - have never seen one
Also found some others with handle changed.
For all the faults here this is a huge huge step up.
