some providers keep the light pretty dimmed down, why?
is it because:
1. you have some lesions and want to cover the shit up?
2. Dimmed light covers up whatever apparence flaws you may have? (if we are staying after 5 min, you already passed the apparence test)
3. I am so ugly and you really can't fuck unless its dark (dont think I am that bad, you never know hehe!)

I would like to have the light as bright as possible in the room, because:
1. I can enjoy looking at her nice body
2. I can briefly check for herpes before diving in

It's not awkward for a provider to be naked with a guy that we met 5 minutes ago, 5 hours ago, or 5 years ago.   That's what we do.  We get naked.  All the time.  In all kinds of lighting.  Hell, most clients have studied my body well before an appointment with me, so there's no surprises there (unless my photos are so touched up that I need to worry!)...?

I see about 80% of my clients in daylight hours, so dimming the lights is only an issue some of the time.  But, I do dim the lights...it creates a mood that is usually conducive to romance, massage, relaxation.  But, I do ask them if they'd like it brighter, because in the past I have had some mention to me that they would like to see me better.  And, I didn't find it odd at all.  It's nice to see.  Everything.  

Dull the senses?  what?  Why would I want to dull my senses?  I want to feel everything you do to me and for me.  Geez.

In my rather limited experience, whenever the lights are dimmed, it is always done for the mood or the ambiance, sometimes with added music or  candles or, in one case, porno movie in the background.  I am very visual so I usually request her to turn the lights up a bit & it has never been an issue.

In dealing with civies, it's a good idea to have the lights low for a number of reasons.

With providers I've seen everything from candlelight to practically using a medical spotlight. Given the wide array of actual provider attitudes, I don't think any general rules are applicable.

However, in the civie world, low lighting is beneficial for a couple of reasons.

1. Even the most beautiful of women can be hypercritical of "flaws" in their bodies that nobody notices but them. But the fact that you think a woman is as flawless as Aphrodite doesn't mean that SHE is unaware of these flaws, and often excessively self-conscious about them. Lowering the lights makes these concerns disappear, which helps her actually enjoy the sex. It allows her to be less self-conscious -- a huge bonus for her pleasure.

2. Brain scan studies of women as they stimulate themselves to orgasm or are stimulated by their chosen partners to orgasm indicate a number of mental preconditions. While at certain levels orgasm can be an autonomic response; like many autonomic responses it can be overridden by the brain. While there are exceptions, as a precondition for orgasm a woman generally needs to feel safe and she needs to be able to relax completely in terms of her situational awareness. Bright lighting can make it more difficult for a woman to relax situational awareness, thereby making it more difficult to achieve orgasm.

Obviously, as many providers have (usually anonymously) made postings indicating the incredible levels of undesirability attained by their clients while others have professed that an experience with them is to some degree "real,"  -- it may well be that in some cases there is absolutely nothing that a client can do to make a provider in any way more comfortable other than pay up, be clean and leave as soon as possible. But for those cases when dealing with a provider who actually stands a chance of enjoying the encounter; lowering the lights can be a good idea if that is her preference.

Keep in mind that sex is not something you do TO somebody or have done to you. Rather, it is something you do WITH somebody.

Providers are not super-human. Some are incredibly bright and supremely capable, but they are still human females. As such, there is no changing the fact that to some extent THEIR comfort within a sexual situation will have some degree of effect on how much YOU as the client can enjoy it. If all one seeks is a warm masturbation device, this doesn't matter. But at the higher reaches of provider performance capabilities, such things as the provider's environmental preferences can and do make a difference.

As a sex professional, someone intimately familiar with her own body and responses, she knows what works best for her and hence will allow her to perform at her best. If she wants a spotlight, that's what works best for her. If she wants candlelight, that's what works best for her. And because sex is a shared experience; whatever environment works best for her will pay dividends for you.

As for looking for HSV-2 sores; certainly if they are obviously present (and you don't mistake vulvitis for herpes ... you DO know how to distinguish between the two, yes?) the lady is both active and infective. Women are about twice as likely as men to have HSV-2 (1 in 5 women versus 1 in 9 men). If we reasonably assume providers to be a cross-section of women as a whole, you can reasonably expect 1 in 5 providers to have HSV-2.

HSV-2 can be transmitted even when no sores are present; though it is more likely to be transmitted when sores are present. HSV-2 can also be transmitted even with a condom in use; though it does reduce the risk of transmission.

If you are concerned about HSV-2, and since condoms only REDUCE the risk and 1 in 5 women at large are infected; it is clear that volume is the biggest risk factor. So I would recommend keeping your total number of sex partners as low as practicable, and to choose as sex partners women who are also low volume. Low volume, incidentally, does NOT necessarily correspond to high cost and is a relative term. It pays to research women thoroughly and read their posts on various boards.

In addition, there exist among providers women of exemplary ethics who, if they were aware that they had HSV-2, would leave the business. There is no substitute for ethics in providers. Again, you can figure out a woman's ethical profile through indirect means. I recommend paying close attention and drawing correlations.

IDK, that she's seen her share of fat and nasty and that she has the lights down for every new appointment just in case.  Now I'm not making fun of anyone cause I'm about 15lb overweight myself 5'8" 185lbs.

Before you say it, I know there are some people that have a great personality and size may not matter BUT most are here for one thing and one thing only. Now for the guys that do a lot of extended appointments, overnights, or trips then maybe you're not there for one thing alone, you may be there for personality too. I know my overnights and trips have a lot to do with personality but It just so happens that the ladies i do these things with are smoking hot plus have the personality that fits what I'm looking for.

I personally like dim lights during my fun because it kinda sets the mood. But when it really comes down to it, it doesn't matter because the damn lights wont be my focus, blowing YOUR mind is my focus!
