Gift Card for TER membership, does one work for less than $40

The minimum (at least for Walmart cards)  seems to have now jumped to $40 to use as barter for the TER membership.

I think I'm going in for the yearly, but have a need to get VIP just for a couple weeks and I'd like to do it cheaper than $40 if possible.

"We accept gift card balances between $40 and $1000."
Also since the cheapest, purchase price by other methods is 30 bucks for a month, why would gift card rates be lower? If you are that strapped for cash, that 40 bucks is a big hit to your wallet, why not just submit some problem reports?

TER does not use big letters lightly.

30 bucks on a credit or debit card.

I paid up my VIP yesterday with a $75 Target gift card, which got me 72 days. On a Visa, the same amount got me 90 days. Using gift cards for anonymity adds a couple layers of inefficiency, and the middlemen gots ta get paid

Your comment makes as much sense as telling some guy to contact an escort about her rates when her rates are clearly stated in her website.
