Problem solved. If she wants me to jump through hoops AND have me open myself up to being scammed I simply move on to the next girl.
The chances of me paying via a gift card of any kind are somewhere LESS than zero. as I said before. Problem solved. lol
when he said an iTunes card was how old are these girls? 15? I will only do cash, like you, but I think it would be interesting to see what kinds of cards some providers ask for relative to their age. If a provider asks ME for a gift card instead of cash, the only one that might get my attention is a BevMo card. A girl that wants to drink up per profits is probably going to be a good time.
can happen no matter if it's by text or any other means. A phone call is no assurance, if she asks you for an "advance" at the last minute.
I'm OK with a deposit on occasion when it's planned in advance. Many will say to never do even that.
If you meet her for drinks, there is nothing preventing a "cash and dash" when she excuses herself to the restroom.
Bottom line for me: ANY last second request for an unplanned "advance" (in any form) is seriously sketchy and due for a pass.
Last minute changes sometimes happen... room changes, hotel changes, time changes. Just be alert for the "advance of compensation before we meet" changes.
Quite frankly, I don't see the point in using any gift card ever (especially one so odd-ball as an iTunes card) for an in-person meeting. If cash isn't good enough... it just raises a flag for me and I'll pass. The card scams have been around for a long time.
Interesting that there are providers that use text only with a new client. I won't final confirm appointment without a convo. Too many spoofers and trolls and my worst fear, under agers playing games.
From a provider's POV a new client saying, "Let's meet me in hotel bar and go from there" is a no go for me (setting aside a verifiable reference from another provider or a good faith deposit, which from your POV of course brings you back to square one
Good luck!

I have no problem with a phone call but it has become rare compared to ten years ago when you always talked to the girl before the appointment.
When a provider wants to talk to you, she is doing a final screening to make sure you're not a black guy.
Second, I've NEVER been asked for a gift card or similar. Always been cash.
Finally, a provider would rarely if ever meet a potential client for coffee. Its a waste of time and energy. Also, if she met every client downstairs for 'coffee' it would become very suspicious very quickly; drawing unwanted attention by hotel security.
Never send deposits.
Never prepay with Gift Cards.
If a hooker insists on it I have one word for her “Bye”

Also, other scams men or ladies have found lately that others should be warned about?
I have written a slim volume on the subject, fully indexed, fully illustrated, with examples and links to relevant websites and other sources. If each interested reader sends me $40, I will send each one a hardcopy or PDF copy, according to their preference.

Just in case: JUST KIDDING! But you can still send me the $40 if you want.
... getting screening calls before establishing my p411 credentials. After that, mostly i'd just get a text confirmation.
