A provider friend of mine has a cat who is lost. If any of you are close to your kitties, you know how heartbreaking this is.
I don't care if anyone thinks this is corny...any of you who care, please send all good vibrations and positive thoughts in the direction of San Diego so her kitty will come home.
where she can work things out. I once had to let a kitty go into a forest, as she seemed so unhappy to be in the city. She had adopted me. I am a catlover, allergic to kittykats.
But the lovely creature still had the beauty and grace to mesmerize any possible predator. After all, the sweet grace of a feline when she looks you in the eye, and meows, and moves her lovely body is heart rending. Not to mention powerful. May the Cat Goddess protect her.
My Sweet Yorkie thinks He is a cat. something about those felines, remember they have nine lives for a reason. Maybe they are protecting their owners?
I have an indoor cat who did a "jailbreak" on me. After he escaped, I looked all over for him, and I did not see him for 11 days. I mean, there was no sign of him.
Then, one day, I came home from work, and he was there in front of the apartment. He had lost some weight, but he wasn't injured, though he was a bit traumatized, I would say, and lonely. He'd actually follow me meowing with the string in his mouth! But he recovered within a few days and seemed to appreciate me more after that.
She shouldn't give up. Cats can range for miles. Usually they mark their trail, rubbing with their mouth glands to find their way back. Sometimes, they can get distracted and forget, though. Especially if they are not used to being out.
Of course I wish your friend the best with her cat. From personal experience with mine I can tell her the cat may be just fine. Recently ours disappeard for two days for the first time in the seven years weve had her. Me and my girls were worried sick.. thought she died, got stolen, you name it. She suddenly appeared in the window 5:45 am Sunday morning when I turned on the light..just like that.. a little dirty but ok....cats do have their own drummer.. maybe a whole drum section..hope this helps..
When I was young, I had a cat who grew up with me from age 5 until he died when I was 22. He was closer in friendship to me than any of my friends. I still miss him!
I fully understand, and hope that her cat comes home safely.
Positive thoughts you will receive on this. Never give up hope on a cat, I've had this happen twice and both times they came home. One within a couple of days, the other showed up about a week after he left. Best of luck.
