I've had several comments that it's "nice." I wouldn't even mention it except that when it was said recently my reply of thank you must have sounded a bit odd because the lady asked if I thought that it was just provider-speak. I basically said that I have no idea but certainly one could think it was part of the fantasy/service. She very astutely pointed out that it is much easier to say nothing.

There are little signs you can watch for or quiz them on to tell if they are just talking or if they are serious.
