TER General Board

I REALLY miss the editing feature and want to see it brought back. . .

Even though on longer posts I compose in MS Word and then cut and paste, I still make too many errors for my own personal defect of perfectionism.

If the reason TER removed editing was due to abuse and mischief, I propose that this could be solved by reducing the time limit for editing from 24 hours down to 10 - 30 minutes. Better yet, simply prohibit any editing AFTER a post has been responded to.

I agree, there needs to be a way to resume the edit feature.

If I may suggest, instead of punishing all of us, find a way to punish the abusers.  If it is that big of a problem, a 30 or 60 day vacation from the site is in order.  I'm on other sites that just ban a member for breaking the forum rules, its not a big problem.

Please end the mass punishment.  We have had enough.

I am supposed to be visiting my sister in FL later this year. I guess I can go to Miami to.

I have been spoiled and hope it will be back soon.

ouch!

and yes I mis speak at times (or should I say, mis write?). But - in the end - they are only words. From what I have seen of your posts - I Get The Message!

We all miss it.  It leaves our posts with mistakes and --worse-- a post that, on re reading, fails to express exactly what we want to say.

TER claims it's a glitch & that it'll be back.  The button shows up, it just doesn't work.  I hope they fix it soon.

You cannot miss what you never had!  LOL  I see comments about this all over the boards though.  When changes are made, it's always a pain to adjust and go with it.  It certainly sounds like this was not a change for the better!
