There was a recent post, I believe by Sedona, warning providers about LE. Specifically, how they would pull any kind of trick to catch a provider. e.g. just beacuse they take off their clothes, or even have sex, doesn't mean they won't pull out their badge, etc. I have tried to find it but can't locate it. We have had some warnings in the Portland of a pending increase in LE activity. I would like to pass that message on to one of our local boards for them to post in the providers only section to warn some of the newer ladies. Does anyone know who posted it? And could I have permission to pass it on?
Thanks

You may have permission to post any unedited posting I have done on the Boards themselves, but not of any Private Messages. If you do a search on the 'author' (me, Sedonasandiego), you will see a cut and paste of an article written by an attorney. I don't remember the subject line.
I haven't posted anything on the Legal Boards, but you may want to check there, also.

Now, here's a side thread..Ladies and Gents, if the Hobby were legal (it wrongfully isn't, but that's due to misinterpretation) would it be any less exciting?

Naughtyescort (www.naughtyescort.com) has good info but it's a Members Only site. I hope this has been helpful. Let me know what you find, and if you don't succeed, PM me..

I found it, thanks a lot. I will send it to the local moderator and see if they will post it as a warning to our lovely local ladies. We have a number of relatively new & young providers who may be a little careless. There is a rumor going around (and a little bird told me it is very likely true) that our "Bitch Lady Mayor Vera" is going to push for a crack down. Just what the police need to do right now with a tax measure on the ballot next week that if it doesn't pass they are going to start letting some "really bad" people out of jail because the budget is going to be slashed. So, lets arrest some high end escort ladies who do absolutely no harm to our society and in fact bring value to it. But, don't get me going on the legality issue, and I think from your prior posts, I know how you feel.
Thanks again, I think you are a class act, I will get to San Diego some day to find out in person.
Hugs,
Jake

ps - btw, I post as both rowdyone and eaglefiftyfour

I hope this hobby stays illegal... do I sound nuts?  Well here's my reasons.

I love the hobby and what these ladies offer to us, but I've found that the provider's I've wanted most or enjoyed being with the most wouldn't be providers if it were leagalized.  Why?  They don't want the world knowing what they do.  If you legalize then the government will regulate it.  That means taxes, which means you'll have to get licenses, registrations all the nonsens which reveals your identity.  Many ladies in this industry don't want that... many have told me their own significant others don't know what they do.  If you legalize it, you'll lose many of the top quality ladies.

I say escorting isn't wrong, but I vote to keep it illegal.  It keeps the standards high.

Is it truly legal in Nevada?

From what I have heard, it just consists of a few brothels who are run by a few who get the most benefit (50% off the top for each date).  In addition, all ranches (excluding the Bunny Ranch) literally LOCK a girl there for 3 weeks not allowing her to leave.

In Minnesota, I have to have a lisence to massage yet I don't have to go to school to get that lisence.  In Nevada if I want to escort legally, I have to work for someone else who holds the lisence.

I think I'll stick to being independent and taking my chances over working for a "person" who wants to take a good chunck off the top for providing me with what I can provide myself.

I underatand some of your reasons for keeping it illegal.  I would prefer that it be decriminalized.  I really don't want the government intrusion that you refer to, but at least if it were not a criminal act, then LE would be forced to spend their time fighting real crime, with real victims.

just another opinion......

These ladies love what they do but don't even tell their significant others?

It's not wrong, but they can't tell their significant others?

You can love someone intimately and hide something this BIG from them?  I have *never* understood that... and what kind of courtesy and respect does that show to the one being lied to?

Ah, living a lie... now THAT is just... well, true quality!

Just something to think about... And also the fact that if legalization took effect, there would be many negative effects... but many many positives also. Many women who would enjoy doing this for the sake of doing it, who would join in... I very highly doubt that you'd find a reduction in quality.
