I have never been contacted out of the blue by someone claiming to be a provider and soliciting me for business. Ever.

If that ever did happen I would ignore them.

Right before starting  to see working ladies I was checking out Backpage back in the day. I fell in love a few times and was tempted, but even with zero experience I could tell that things were fishy just by reading ads. Very often the ladies I was interested in were using the same phone numbers as "other" women.  I never fell for it.

How often do you get contacted by  people who have no footprints in the hobby but refuse to verify  themselves.  And finally , have you ever fallen for it ?

I have never fallen for it for I research every lady before I contact them.

Yeah seen some sexy ads on  skip, buno  footprints  can be found, so it's  either a scam,LE ,or criminals  setting a trap,

That's why before I request an appointment or submit screening info, she needs to pass my screening first:

1. Ad/provider is local (or local to me if on tour). If I can find concurrent ads for her in other cities, no bueno.
2. Phone number and/or email is not used by other providers, UNLESS I can verify these belong to an established agency (and I can find her ad on other sites used by that agency). If I can see the same pics used by other providers, no bueno.
3. No reviews = no bueno.
4. Deposit required = no bueno.
5. Available 24/7/365 = no bueno.
6. Pics look too old, or not original/personal. Ok, this is subjective, but if she's holding an iPhone 6, or she's dressed for a 1980's disco dance, or her apparent age does not match her stated age, or she is standing in front of a recognizable landmark that no longer exists, no bueno.
7. Pics used in other provider ads, or pics are "representative" but not really hers (exception: K-Girl ads) = no bueno.
8. Stated services are too specific (again, K-Gril ads are an exception), or not specific enough. Ok, subjective again. But the service has to match the context, or no bueno.

Nicely stated. If all hobbyists followed the same checklists, there would be less scammers out there....

I cannot believe that guys fall for these Tryst ads asking for anywhere from 25% to 50% non-refundable or supposedly refundable (good fucking luck) deposits. Not to mention the $1500/hr rates. What planet are they on?

Reality awaits. What a concept!

As long as there is someone willing to pay......

I also avoid Providers that only have a phone number listed as a way of contacting them .i.e. the eros ads. This coupled with no email and/or a website is why I have never gotten scammed.

how they got my hobby phone number.  The thought that a provider I have seen is selling or trading my contact information is a little unnerving.

I see the same happening  on  skipthegames now. Some very tempting  ads but no footprints ,am sure they are scammers and LE.
Was tempted a few times but the bigger head prevailed.

I still see Adds from ladies I've met and Know the pics they are using are OLD and no longer close to accurate.
If asked privately I always give up the details. If the girl provides good service I look past the 'false advertising' knowing some ladies are just trying to make ends meet.
