As far as God's joke, more like protection.  Besides being more willing under the influence, your judgement is also more clouded leaving you to be more likely to do something that might be risky and be detrimental to your health...i.e. pick up a street-walker and request BBFS.

Physiologically, however, the answer is a bit different.  It has to do with alcohol's effect on the central nervous system.  It lowers inhibition (therefore making you more willing while at the same time impairing your judgement).  The effects on the flesh have to do with decreased sensation (ever felt your face go numb when you've tied one on?  imagine what that does to the little fella!).  Alcohol also decreases blood pressure,heart rate, and respsiratory rate.  For those who don't understand how an erection works, without sufficient blood flow and blood pressure an erection cannot occur.

In his classic 'Buffalo Theory' explanation he explains to Norm that in nature a herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo.  When the herd is hunted by predators it is the slowest buffalo at the back of the pack that gets killed.  This natural selection process helps the herd get stronger because the speed and health of the herd improves overall as the weaker members die.

Well in the same fashion, the human brain can only function as fast as the slowest cells. As we know alcohol kills brain cells.  So natural selection of course will have the alcohol attack and kill the weakest and slowest brain cells.  Therefore consumption of alcohol eliminates the weaker brain cells and makes the brain that much more efficient. And this is why we always feel smarter after we have a few drinks...

Hmmm, does it do the same for cholesterol?  Maybe I've been taking the wrong approach to a healthy lifestyle.

is that age is a big factor.  When I was in my early 20's I could put down a few drinks and still get a stiff woody.  Now, I have to be very careful how much alcohol I consume so that I can get a stiffy.  I like a drink but I'd rather get fu*ked.

Afraid not!  Otherwise, this nation wouldn't have a plethera of people suffering from high cholesterol.  There are some beneficial side-effects from the tannins in red wine on heart health.  There are even beneficial effects from the hops in beer on the kidney's.  However, the effects from long-term excessive use far out-weigh these benefits.  They don't discuss how even one drink (4 oz. wine, 12 oz. beer, 1 oz distilled liquor) has on a person's brain cells.  Not pretty.  

Don't get drunk, get laid.  Better for your blood pressure, too!  Sorry, it won't lower your cholesterol either!  LOL

Also, takes away the nervous tension of meeting someone new at times .

...alcohol increases the body's estrogen production.  Therefore, for women, they get a sexual boost from alcohol (in moderation).  For men, extra estrogen caused by alcohol has the entirely opposite effect.

a bottle of View Clit, or maybe a bottle of Mount and Do Clit.  It would probably come with a screw cap/
