Could you please repeat that? It's very difficult to understand.
And I'm an Aussie too. That wasn't even fluent Bogan.

I'm confident she could translate.  Or maybe this guy.

Maybe she booked a bachelor party and can't sit up in a chair yet.

And while this is a particularly difficult to translate example of the language I think I got the gist of the post.

It appears a client pretending to want to book, wasted 40 minutes of her time instead of booking. At the end he revealed  he was moving and unable to book. This was a huge waste of time and she wishes to know why a client would waste her time so knowing he would not be able to book as he is moving.

Answering her I would have to say, as I would never call a provider I wasn't going to book just to waste her time, I don't know. Maybe he was lonely and doesn't respect you time. Your going to have to ask him.

Try posting that again tomorrow morning.

Won't she be risking another 40 minutes wasted?  I would advise her not to double down on a time waster.  Just my opinion.

But if she really wants to know she will have to ask a time wasted why they do what they do. All anyone else can do is guess. I personally wouldn't be curious enough to take the risk of more time wasted and ask, but it is the only way she will ever know. She would indeed be risking wasting another 40 or more minutes if she asks him but research often comes with risks.

Honestly that one is beyond me. I am a native gibberish speaker, see any of my posts as proof but gibberish has so many variations even native speakers can struggle with the more nuanced uses of gibberish.

1) a client calls me and the call lasts more than 1 min
2) a client wants an extended booking (more than 2 or 3 hours) without having met me

Both signs of bullshit.

Within 30 sec of a client calling me I ask for references, before talking about rates, availability, services, etc. These guys never have a reference (which I already know - it's my way of ending the convo) and it saves me the emotional energy of talking for 40 min.

Good luck!

Most likely a combination of both.

This actually happened to me too often when I was first starting out, I invested a lot of time on phone calls/emails/texts with guys that had no intention of booking.  After awhile you develop a kind of bs-meter and can sense when you are being played.
As to the why?  Who knows?  I'm guessing they are lonely and want attention.  Maybe some of them would like to see you but aren't ready to take that step yet?  Some are trying to develop a rapport so they can ask you out OTC, that used to happen to me frequently.  In any case, I don't think you will get an honest answer from one of the offenders here on the boards, lol.

A client called to book. She blathered in the same obscure dialect as her post. He hung in and tried to keep up with google translate as long as he could. He finally gave up and said, "oh never mind, I just remembered I'm moving..."

Or maybe, while on the phone he was comparing and contrasting her P411 and personal website pics.

Either way, he made the smart choice.

After 40 minutes of miscommunication, I think he probably said something like, "Thank you for your time but I don't see how this will work out. I think I'll be MOVING ON (to the next Provider on my list)."

lol, at least that's the sense I've gathered.  Haven't heard any individuals admitting to it anyway.
Don't think too hard: men are A-holes, we know it.  We do this because we can, there are no immediate repercussions.
Sorry,, that's why

By text or email, even if I'm repeating. That way, if she NCNS's me I have the written proof to back up warning other hobbyists about her.

lesson learned perhaps from this guy, for you..don't give up that much of your time on a call just to schedule.
my provider time is so limited I can't call my clients, unless already screened and he's calling to let me know he's parked and on his way in the door..
I do think we all have had it happen from all sides at least once and while it's disapointing at least he gave you the courtesy of telling you he couldn't go through with the booking!
Wish him luck with the move and move on with a no phone call policy!  xo

Phone sex costs around $3 minute -- so 40 minutes is $120.  He got it free.

It's never strictly necessary to talk on the phone, but some girls mandate it. Only two that I've seen. Both used it efficiently in different ways.

One only talked after I had been screened. I think she likes to get to know her clients better before the session, as well as the personal touch of voice to voice communication. We didn't talk too long, maybe five minutes.

The other didn't screen at all, except to ask my age. (No, she didn't screen my number surreptitiously or anything, because I asked. Of course, she may have been lying, but I believed her.) She was very quick and to the point. You could tell she had done it a million times. No forty minute conversations there.
