I have been away from the hobby for awhile.  Was thinking of getting back in and had let most of my memberships lapse so I thought I would take a look at Backpage to see if any of my old regulars were still around.  Things have obviously changed quite a bit in the last year.  I remember a Backpage issue a while back where providers moved to the dating section.  Now it seems nothing is posted other than phone numbers.  Have these ads moved to another spot?

If you click on the phone number, it will open up the ad, which will yield a little more info:

1. The poster's (alleged) age
2. The poster's general location
3. A link to a social media account
4. Pictures or even video

That isn't much compared to the old Backpage ads. But let's face it, BP users don't really look for much information. It would be helpful if BP allowed mention of pricing, but they are probably paranoid about what happened to Craigslist.

Best thing to do is copy and past their phone number into TER to make sure they are legit and what you're looking for.

And when you view it in Gallery mode, hold your mouse cursor (or finger if you're on a table) on an ad that draws your attention. The pictures will change to show all of the pictures in the ladies' ad. And many ladies are now including an image that has detail, such as their TER review number. With these changes, it may even be more useful than it was before. It's easy to quickly eyeball the pictures and focus on ones that draw your attention -- or girls that you recognize.
