Email tag for two days...all the while my rates are posted here, there and EVERYWHERE...pics sent...friendly banter exchanged...I request a reference...guy asks my rates...response from fella "I have a reference but you're too rich for my blood  - thanks but NO THANKS" ....really? That's mean! I don't think $300 for 90 minutes is insanely expensive....do you? More important matter is why be rude about it?

I guess he thought that after emailing you a few times, your rates would drop because he was so fkin special. No, your rate is about average, and actually most charge that for less time. Block his email and tell him to try the truck stop. It is one thing to not want to pay a rate, but another to bother contacting someone you can't afford just to be an ass. Just know that some guys are seriously this pissed they have to pay for ass.

I would simply chalk it up to "occupational hazard" and move on. Oh yeah, blocking him might not be a bad idea too.
