First time visiting Philly...

I'm new to the East Coast and not the greatest traveler, but I'm planning to drive to Philly from Maryland. I will be checking in at a hotel on Thursday, the 31st, and staying through Saturday or Sunday, depending on the GFE entertainment, food, and sightseeing. Liberty Bell's, The Rocky's Steps, and Geno's steaks are my starting points. :-)

 
If you have any tips and recommendations, please share them here or PM me by bullet points and I will look them up. I'll post this on the Philly Board as well.

NO lol. Do not think that is what our cheese steaks are really about. Geno's and Pat's are both tourist spots. They are not what real Philly cheese steaks are. I don't eat cheese steaks anymore but I use to enjoy one from Dalessandros.  https://dalessandros.com/

Also while you are doing the Rocky steps check out the art museum. It is one of my favorite places to go when I just need some time to myself.
