Went to refill my Cialis and noticted a 30% bump in price. From what I was told, its because of the new healthcare law that will limit price increases after it takes effect.  So thanks to the government I'm now paying MORE instead of less for the same produce. WTF???

You can get generics that are chemically exactly the same for 1/10th the US price.

What do you expect man....Its one fucked up piece of legislation... Too Big..Too Complex and is going to destroy America as we know it. Its a job killer.  Its going to be a bloodbath come January.

Hussein's own party who largely supported it and the Labor Unions who got him elected are now opposing it..

If Republicans don't defund it and Billy's Hilly get's elected in 2016, which is very much likely if GOP don't end their internal struggles and get their shit together, then the next step is a single payer Health Care system.  Well.. some Dems, including Billy's Hilly always wanted that to begin with...Sad but true..

Prices are higher in the USA because members of congress receive too much $$$ from drug companies to even permit Canada type laws that lower prices.

In effect USA consumers subsidize lower prices to consumers in foreign countries.

Anyone here sign up to pay for socialized medications in foreign countries?

Except for when the medication helps me, of course.

That's just bad. They should pass a law against that too.

Where have you been the last 20 years?  We're getting taken to the cleaners, and it's nothing new.

The U.S. government could and should negotiate prices with the drug companies. That is how Canada and other more civilized countries handle drug prices. Don't cry for the drug companies. They are making plenty of money in Canada and Europe.

I have met people from around the world in NYC. Many express astonishment that we  -- the so-called richest country  on Earth-- allow people to face financial ruin from health care costs.

Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane – Martin Luther King, Jr
