What would you do - If you agreed on a price, then she offers a special discount?

Ok, so I am trying to see a new provider this Wednesday (2 days from now) and yesterday we agreed on a certain price.  Then, I saw on BP tonight that she dropped her price - seems like business is slow.  I have never seen her before, so it will be our first encounter.

Would you ....
1) call her attention to the new discount rate on her new ad and re-negotiate?
2) or proceed to pay higher and pretend you didn't see the new price?

new price or more time. why pay more than the next guy? it all comes down to how much you want to see her vs. pissing her off.

I doubt it.  If I negotiate to buy a car at $X, and the next guy comes in and gets it for less I don't expect a refund.

Problem with the car analogy is you are already mentioning a 'refund', so I assume you already paid for the car.

The proper analogy would be that you and the dealer verbally agreed on a price of a car, and suddenly the dealer dropped the price BEFORE you paid for it and before you picked it up.

Understand, but it's still a situation where we agreed to a price.  If it goes up I am protected, if it goes down, better luck next time.  If you weren't happy with the price you agreed to you shouldn't have agreed.

Maybe the better anaogy is you agree to a $250 price to meet her.  After you've exchanged e-mails--but before you see her or pay--3 or 4 guys all call and offer $300.  Should she go back to you and say "Obviously business is good and demand is up so I'm going to raise my price $50 for tomorrow night."

Somehow I don't think you would be agreeable, but it is essentially the same thing.

What you are describing is called "Upselling".  That's when a provider goes back to you to raise prices.  Of course, a provider will lose all customers with this practice.

What I am saying is that you and the provider agreed on let's say $160 ... and then she shouts to the entire world that it's now $40 ...    yep!  $40.  that's the new actual price in her ad.

Are you saying you will still go and pay $160 ?

Upselling and discounting are two different things.   In a consumer economy, you can go back to Walmart and Amazon and Best Buy and actually get a refund if they reduce the price two days after.  Those are the successful business models.   They will even price-match for you, or get you refunded if they decided to discount it within 15 days.

Hold up.

If she actually threw a $40 special out there, don't think they are staying for an hour. In fact, I'd be willing to bet with your $160 hr appt, you'd be headed out the door 2 minutes after filling the bag with your load.

Upselling---Happens after the session starts. "Oh you wants your dick sucked, $50", "You want to put your dick where? $50."

You agreed on her rate which was 160? No offense, but is that not cheap enough for you? 40 bucks would scare the living shit out of me, so you might want to ask if you should be seeing her at all. I hope she has reviews here...just sayin. I could see if she was having trouble getting a ton of guys to pay like 500, but 160? I don't get it.

I must say I agree with London, and that's not always the case (which is OK). I wouldn't see a girl for $40, there's something really wrong with that low of a rate. I typically don't see girls at $160, although I have a local provider that I see for blow and go at that rate. If you agree to a rate you should honor that, and so should she, nothing turns me off more than upselling. I honestly don't like to talk about money at all, she advertises a rate and I pay it, now let's have fun.

So you are dealing with a BP provider offering a $40 special.

If you tell me that she is stating that she is offering one hour of GFE time for 40, then you better run for the hills.

More likely, the ad isn't specific, and $40 gets you in the door, maybe even a 15 minute HJ/BJ. If you want more, it costs more. If she also posted a 160 rate, that probably is for one hour, though you will be lucky if it is for full gfe with no upselling. I'm not saying it doesn't happen (it DOES in my area) but lesser levels of service also happen.

You can't agree to pay 160m and expect to get the same service for 40. She is advertising a different service altogether.

Is she really giving a 75% discount?  I'd doubt it which makes this analogy kind of useless for your particular predicament.

Ladies can comment on this, but what about waiting until after the session and saying something like, "I saw that you ran a special and was more than happy to pay our agreed upon fee.  For returning or existing clients, do you normally honor a special rate even if the appointment date and time had been agreed upon before you ran it?  Or do you go by the rate that was agreed to when the appointment was made?"

You get your answer and just say, "thanks much.  I just wanted to be clear as to how you approached this so I don't ever misunderstand."

Then you take it from there.

I have seen BP girls in the past and most have been train wrecks, with either/or upselling, not the girl in the photo, bad attitude. The only way I will ever see a BP girl again is if she's well reviewed here.

I agree with several posters above, especially that $40 is not going to be including the kind of service you are getting for booking an hour...if she already has a low hourly fee, the $40 is going to be like a wham bam 15 mins or probably not even FS--but like LR said, isn't the price point enough to make you wonder and do further research?...either way, what I would do is approach her before hand and ask what the special includes, which brings her attention to the fact that you saw her ad and want to take advantage of it...that should clear everything up.
When my regulars come in I do not inform them about specials...they are generally a way of promoting interest for prospective new clients.  If a client asks to take advantage of my special then he is basically confirming to me what is going to be in the envelope.  My specials are on the same website as my rates at the top of the page so it's not like I am throwing different prices all over the place...but it's like a coupon...if you don't read the newspapers where the coupons are printed, you pay regular price at the store.

This question is a no brainer. All businesses honor stated discounts BEFORE the sale has been made.  If she won't give you the discount, it says a lot about her, and how she'll treat you at the session.  Go elsewhere if she doesn't have the decency or integrity to give you the same deal she's giving others. The previous advice on this thread is BullShit!!!  Next.

Let me explain to you how this works. When HE booked with her, she was NOT advertising a special (yea shocking but they do have a start and end date); therefore, HE is not ELIGIBLE for the damn special. The poor girl is obviously struggling and probably counting on that 160, but needed extra money hence the special for OTHER guys.

I know, I know...she's just a hooker and can fk 4 guys that day/week to make up for giving this one a special right? Brilliant. At times I really wish some of you fks had a vagina, but then again it would look like freakin Arby's for all you would put it through.

Gentleman rates and asshole rates. If the asshole doesn't like my inflated rates he goes elsewhere..win, win. I do that to deter a certain demographic...and it works like a charm.

These asshole rates are not posted anywhere, they are applied when needed.

If you only see it as a business transaction, price it how you want. Be aware though, that you are not buying a product, but a service, and there is an emotional person on the other end. Start out cutting down the agreed upon price, and service WILL suffer. Many on here try to separate emotion from the deal, but still expect all the "fake" emotion thrown into the service.

I would subtly make her aware that you know about the discount, but want to pay the agreed upon price, so the service will be outstanding.

Just my $.02, but it will pay double that!

TheSkyFell185 reads

Make her aware you saw it, pay the original price.

Do you want to save $50 or whatever it is or do you want to make her feel good so that she can make you feel good?

Are you seriously trying to advocate that one successful business model can be applied to any and every business? Are any of you claiming to have run a successful p4p sex business? Are you all shopping for sex at Sears fa chrissake? Negotiate a discount at a department store, what the fuck does some clerk care? You are talking about a human being selling something very personal.

It's one thing to say what's "right" - yes, if she is a smart provider, she will offer you the discount that she posted. But if you are a smart hobbyist, you will follow the advice given - mention the discount, but offer to pay the full price, saying you were going to "tip anyway" or something like that. If money is an issue, maybe ask if she'll offer you a deal for a repeat visit. Now you've told her that you think she's worth the full price, and indicated that you might like to come back. That's the BEST you can do to increase your chances of having a nice time, and you've opened up a dialogue that will possibly allow you to negotiate a middle ground rate for future visits.

Most providers do not want to discuss rates and do not want to negotiate rates for first time visitors. Look at this as a good thing, especially if you think you might want to see her again.

Do you want to set up a situation that provides the best chance to have a good time? Then pay whatever rate you two agreed upon. If not, then go down the path of haggling over the price.

In the civie world do you give a damn what your neighbor paid for his car?, suit?, cabbage?.  If you do you are probably always going to  feel as if someone else is getting a better deal and in the end allow that information spoil your experience. Guess what? people will always pay less than what you are paying for everything you buy every day and you know what else? Some people will pay more.

You are entering into an experience that is suppose to be mutually beneficial. That is all. You want your ashes hauled by someone who you find attractive and that person is willing to haul said ashes for a certain number. If you start thinking past that you may want to find another way to spend your leisure time.

Just an Old, Ugly, Fat Fuck with an opinion.
