I use cash for almost everything, except utility bills or rent.
Hi
A general question with payments. Cash or Venmo.
Thank you - Alley
Are you asking what Providers prefer to take or what Hobbyists would rather transfer funds with? Or something else.....?
You can't exactly Venmo someone "in person" (well I suppose you could, but then what would be the point?) and since I don't know any hookers who are willing to bill their clients after the session, that means any Venmo payments would be made "up front" before even meeting the provider and that is a 100% NO GO for me. So cash it is for me, unless the lady wants to bill me. lol
"I would gladly pay you tomorrow for a hamburger today? "
Thanks for the fact check and duly noted correction.....

A provider I’ve seen before required a very small deposit of $20 for an outcall (basically to cover the Uber fee) in another city I was vacationing in. I returned to that city some time later, and she didn’t require it then since she knew me. Other than a situation and amount like that, I would only pay cash.
When “shopping” around for some fun, I move on immediately if I see that a deposit is required via a money transfer app no matter who it is. If a provider requests payment that way as opposed to cash, I might consider it but it would have to be after the fun. She wouldn’t probably like that due to trust issues which would be my reason for wanting to pay after, so I don’t think it would work out.
paying a deposit. I think the majority here agree that only idiots do that unless the date is more than 3 hours. Cash is the only way I will pay because only the much older girls still take S&H green stamps for pussy.
They don't seem to understand how venmo works.
I can venmo pay someone as we're standing face to face, same as cash. Only difference is I can't grab the payment back if some dude jumps out of the closet.
That said, venmo leaves a trail, so it's a no go for me.
I clearly said. "Well I suppose you could, but what would be the point?"
But I do appreciate the "respect" even if you did get my post wrong. lol
but I don't carry it to incall appointments.
I do happen to always have one "nearby" on outcall sessions though.
I seriously hope you don't "carry" during incall appointments, even in Texas where I live, that kind of thing is frowned on. lol
I thought all Texas escorts carry a mini glock. Part of the rules
I would sometimes bring my Glock with me. If I'm questioned by staff at a hotel incall, I just give them a quick peek and they back down and leave me alone.

explained further. Once its gone, its gone. For me, that's the same as a deposit for the example that you gave. Now if the provider said, "since its Venmo, you can pay me at the end of the session", that's a different story. But I agree with your point about the paper trail. I only pay cash and always have, so this is a theoretical situation anyway for me. It will never happen IRL.
I use several cash apps, sorry to say Venmo banned me due to Some “Friends” getting a little carried away in stating “For tomorrow XXX MFM or for” XXX work out”
. Cash is nice ..
I require deposits to schedule then the remaining balance either via cash apps or cash.
Deposits have helped greatly with scheduling too Alley!

... except hookers.
I don't really care if my "paper trail" (even though there is no paper in an electronic payment) gets exposed. But most providers do.
And it's important to understand that any electronic payment can be reversed, disputed or flagged by the banks involved, or the regulators or LE teams that monitor financial transactions. Which is why we often see providers who say they were shut down by a payment system due to some ass-hat adding a too-explicit comment about the payment, or even worse, because some jerk disputed the payment with their bank. It's a nuclear option for the jerk who reports it, because he's telling the bank he deliberately used their payment system in furtherance of an illegal act. But it happens all too often.
It might be different with a long term relationship, where there is a proven record of comfort and trust. Carrying several hundred or thousand dollars around in your pocket can be problematic - unless you are GaGa (never realized that GaGa stands for "GotaGlock" LOL). So being able to send your donation WITHOUT stupid notes like "best hooker in Cleveland!" after a session can be convenient. But as a general rule, cash is king in the monger world.

Anything else is stupid in my opinion. Don't care so much about a trail but is a great way to get ripped off, will potentially have to give or some personal info will be shown by the person receiving and most of these pay apps aren't hobby friendly. The slightest clue it's hobby related with platforms like cash app PayPal etc your account/funds will be frozen.
I know a guy who, because when we travel together he likes to have extended/dinner date that could go 6-8 hours. The cost could be in the 2K and up range so he doesn't like to carry alot of cash. He arranges his date based on who can do payment via venmo or whatever electronic payments are available to him and her.
Some guys just don't like carrying a lot of cash.
out of my house in the morning without around $2000 cash in my pocket. Then I keep another $3-4000 in an envelope in the console of my car which I only remove if I need to spend it or remove a temptation from a valet. You never know what opportunities may come up each day, and I have gotten some very good deals by having cash on hand. I may be rethinking this policy now that my bank has put in the new ATM's that dispense $100's. I can get $2500 immediately each day and it doesn't make an obscene bulge in my pocket. Lol
I've already decided I want to see her, the method of payment isn't an issue. I have no more problem sending the donation electronically once I'm in the room with her than I do pulling out an envelope full of cash and placing it on the table.
...it should surprise no one that I'm a "cash only" kinda dino when it comes to paying for playing.
I do use e-payments for many things in civvie life where it's not an issue to be tracked.
Seems to be a no-brainer when pursuing activities that aren't sanctioned in most of the country, even if you have no SO.
Usually Cash. My last appointment, I used an app similar to Venmo. I paid a (small) deposit previously so I already had the providers info. I just didn't feel like stopping by an ATM before the appointment. Paid the balance an hour before the appointment. Worked out fine for me.
