Fair's fair...I answered in the post below about complaints, which comes up fairly regularly on this board. So how about some equal time now for some praise of the ladies that keep us in the hobby---what is so special about someone you've seen that makes you want to repeat with them over and over?

Thank you Zisk. Having had a sex life for the first 54 years of my life that was both amazingly average and incredibly ordinary, I'm still awestruck with the ladies I see. They don't seem to mind that I'm a bit shy, and sometimes have to take the lead. They allow me my little fantasy world, where I get to fall in love over and over, one evening at a time. Far beyond the physical activities that I love so much, they give me back so much more than I ever expected. They keep my little fantasy world alive, and I love them for that.

I've hobbied all around the world during my Navy Career of 35 years. As I look back on my ATFs, there was a lot of variety, due to differences in language, culture, race, etc. However, the common factor among my ATFs was that they made me forget that I was paying for their time and never reminded me that they were providing me with  a service. They also were able to preserve the illusion (my big head knew better of course but my little head ate it up), that I was their only guy...

I love the personalized attention I get, plus the fact that she doesn't seem to mind that my hairline is receeding, my waist is expanding, and my face has broken many camera lenses. I'm taken at how they can keep themselves so beautiful and personable in this profession, given the fact that so many hobbyists have the manners and demeaner of a concrete floor. Yet they always have a smile, a few kind words and a hug for me!!

Hmmm, some of my favorite things?

Definitely having an interest in learning and exploring human sexual physiology. They say it takes "Two to Tango", and this exploration definitely does. I love to teach, and being with a lady that loves to explore makes for some unexpectedly pleasant moments. I love discussing a theory, and then experimenting and sharing feedback while we catch our breath. One experience builds on another. Finding and connecting with a lady open to this exploration can keep me coming back.

Also, having a 'twinkle in the eye' and a light-hearted erotic nature is a repeat attractant.

My ATF is now retired but we still talk frequently and see each other as often as we can. What keeps me enthralled is that we each can be completely open- no editing or posturing, no trying to impress, no hiding. We actually know each other better than anyone else because we've consciously decided that we aren't going to run away from intimacy.

I've learned more about myself from this relationship than from any other except for my children. She says the same thing. Crazy.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the sex was incredible, the conversation is very stimulating, the meals we cook each other are great, she has very nice boobs and a great butt, she laughs at my smartass jokes (mostly because she is a huge smartass, too). the sex was incredible, we work very well together, we can be silent for a long time and not be uncomfortable, the sex was incredible. she loves bookstores as much as I do, she loves learning something new, we stimulate each other's creativity, and the sex was incredible.

In addition to my ATF, I've met several ladies in the biz who really understand how to create a connection and then let it go, who really understand how important NOW is. That's rare.

Let's see:  a kiss that seems real, an intake of breath at the appropriate time, saying goodbye but without implying "Time's up", connecting with her eyes,letting her hands roam lightly as though she is just exploring, remembering our conversations from the week or month before, laughing at my comments even though she may have heard them more than once that day, not recoiling from my pale body, how much more, but in sum, working to make and keep a connection.

I'm sure I have met both, but the question as to which was real and which was Memorex to me is academic.

I am equally grateful for either.

that cannot be explained. An elusive chemistry I feel arises within me quickly after we meet. My favorite part are the feelings I enjoy between appointments.
I hope they enjoy me as well but I don't dwell on that aspect. The absolute most important thing I havd learned is to not make it all about me and my pleasure and get lost in my own world of pleasure. For me now my priority is for her/them to feel safe and for me to learn about how to please her/them as much as she/they are comfortable to reveal to me. When we have good communication their's not a care in the world.

First she comes across as a nice decent person.  Chemistry, feel like an old married couple at times (the good way).  Small talk just before we go to sleep,

I love her look, she looks great without having to dress.  Sex is great.  Don't remember feeling that way with anyone else when I I am inside her.

For me, it's the chemistry we share. You can have sex with anyone but truly great sex takes chemistry.

It is the way my atf makes me feel. It seems so real, way beyond a normal session with an escort. And she happens to be a great person.

While there certainly is the magic and thrill of meeting with someone new, there is that and more when I see someone I have seen before. It always brings back memories of what we’ve shared before with the added anticipation of what is to come. It also is much more “comfortable” to use that word. There’s not the nagging thoughts in the back of my mind about how things will go. I have a damned good idea how it will go. It’s easier when you have had good times together with someone before. Not just here but in the civvie world also.

So leave out all the stuff  that bothers us about providers and what we hobbyists do that bothers them  - and there you have it. That’s seeing a fav.

But the bottom line for me is simple. No matter how bad my week is going it's always manageable when I know that I am seeing my ATF at the end of the week...

No matter how aggravating the people I work with or the people I live with have been a couple of ours with my ATF can change my entire outlook on the world and my place in it...

Is the sex good? Yeah, it's amazing but that's only half the fun!  It's the laughter, the caring, the passion, the goofy little text messages or emails or phone calls between visits that make her a very special lady.

Each of my favorites has, because of a rare combination of intelligence, perceptiveness, passion, sensitivity, and a certain physical skill been able to touch me deeply both physically and emotionally. Meeting someone briefly and being able to relate the way they have is a very rare ability. Strangely, the six I consider among the very best for me have been superficially so different in their appearance and tastes, but they each have that special ability.

I don't have an ATF right now.  However, the ladies I see for repeat visits have a way of making me feel like a king for an hour or more.  To be the full atention of their talents (not just physical, but the companionship as well) is an incredible feeling.  Having a date scheduled at the end of the week sure makes the little bumps during the work week seem so trivial.

If it is all business, then it doesn't do much for me. If I can make a connection with the lady, it makes all the difference in the world.

but not enough time for that, so...  short version:

If I may turn around an old phrase;  It's like having an exciting F**k Buddy, with Benefits.  The Benefits being someone that enjoys your company, genuinely laughs at your jokes and makes you laugh at hers, engages you in thoughtful conversations about a wide and deep range of topics, and is always happy to hear from you.  

Shorter 'short version':  Great company, awesome sex.

There are lots of providers who enage in varied and great sexual acts, but for the ATF, its the person to person connection - the intangible - that factor that just makes you enjoy just being with that person (and the sense, where real or acting, that the feeling is mutual).  I've had 2 ATF's over the course of years, and both were just great people to be with, talk to, and just lie together holding each other.  Both were such that were I single and they interested, a long term relationship beyond the hobby would be something I would definitely be interested in.
