I can do a goatee and stache just fine, but never have been able to on the sides that were satisfactory. At this point, I just go clean, though...too much gray, and most of the ladies seem more than happy.

I've wondered how ladies feel about this current fashion of 2 or 3 day old beards. Personally I think it looks like they need to wash their faces. But, I know it has to be rough and it can't be comfortable on a lady's sensitive areas. I know of at least one lady's website states be clean shaven or make sure your beard is clean and soft.
