Hi,

Newer to the hobby but I am getting several people that sound great on CL but don't seem to have any reviews.

My big fear is that they are LE.  What are the best ways to screen for LE?  Are there any questions they must answer and at what point can they arrest me?  One obvious way would be to pay them after our time but many women would not do that for fear of being stiffed (no pun intended).

Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome.

Several points for you to ponder....

1. Check out the newbie board, where questions like this tend to be answered with more info, less jokes :o)

2. Every state is different in their procedures for stings, as well as their laws. What is done in one state may not be done in your area. A regional board for your area or state dedicated to hobbying may have more accurate information for you.

3. If being busted concerns you, ask the lady to outcall to you - either your home (with an entirely new set of risks), or to a hotel that you reserve. LE tends to not like to come into a situation they don't control in order to make a bust.

The downside though is that most providers do not like to do outcall for this reason, and screen more carefully. If you are new and have no referrences, this may be difficult to arrange at first.

Good luck to you and hope this helps

Also never suggest a sexual act for money or a sexual act for that matter.

That would represent a significant new risk.  Usually it is LE busting providers calling them and asking forbidden questions.

Anyone have hard info on that?

As for how to protect yourself, the suggestion for outcall only is a good idea, but the best way is to only see providers who have a record her on TER and are above suspicion.  Other than that, it is gambling.

they get through your door........you're toast. You can stuff the donation in an envelope, never talk about it, blah, blah, blah. Once you're standing next to LE in your incall or outcall situation you're going to that gated community.
Oh, your case might get thrown out of court because they haven't observed procedure properly or they've dipped their pen in your ink but you still get your name in the paper and on the internet. And you still have to pay the bail bondsman and the attorney, etc. Best never to go there in the first place.

Gentlemen,,,,,,,take Mr Fisher's advice. Check her reviews and her reputation. And for God's sake, stop asking specific sexual questions in your phone conversations and in your email. That's what reviews are for. To read and find out IF the provider you're interested in offers that fetish/fantasy/service.

Ladies, say and write NOTHING incriminating and screen, screen, screen him AND his reference.

Be careful out there folks.

Hugs and Kisses,
Anneke

LE is posting ads on Criags List. Setting up incall at hotels. A few monthes back they got 15 men in one sting. One being a city officail using the city truck . :( So please be careful. You for a reveiwed lady.

"What are the best ways to screen for LE?"
There are none that I'm aware of.

"Are there any questions they must answer[?]"
Like, 'are you a cop'? No, none that I'm aware of.

"at what point can they arrest me?"
Depends on a lot of different factors.  Depending on the CL ad, probably as soon as you meet the provider.  If she named a price, be it in dollars, "roses," or what-have-you, you're toast.

SinsOfTheFlesh's suggestion regarding outcalls strikes me as a good one, but there are no guarantees.

I've had mostly good experiences with providers from CL, but I gave it up.  It seems prone to stings lately.  I wouldn't recommend it.  Why not stick with the established providers? Even if it costs you a bit more, you don't have worry about getting busted.

is rates an acceptable term? although i have visited hundreds of sites where "rates" is the preferred term, it seems to me that rates means money for sex. but a "donation" is arbitrary(although silently expected and demanded) and optional. and lets say if a gentleman comes to see me and asks what extra rates i have (if any), it's still ambiguous if he's a cop or not. should i say, "no, there are no rates. i only accept donations. and my typical initial donation is $$$" or should everything be handled over the phone prior to the session?
this is tricky (umph!)

I think they netted at least 5 ladies and any one of them might have turned to get herself off the hook.

It is a little harder for guys to get busted than providers.  I've lived in Vegas for some time now and have heard of both instances, but the "client" was sited and released, where as the provider was taken to jail and had to go through the whole process.  The main thing is to do as most have said, and screen or simply keep yourself safe and stick with girls that are well reivewed.

I wish you luck in your huntings,
Tasha

Just be real careful.  Remember if someone is trying to get you to say you will pay a certain amount for a sex act run like hell.  And as said before only see person who are well reviewed and follow the rule for prescreening and verifying.  If you don't you could wind up on some city do gooders web site.  Have fun

Frankly, there probably won't be any outwardly visible signs that will help you detect LE. They are pretty savvy these days. They know all about how this hobby works, and aren't stupid enough to show their cards.

But your best rule of thumb is that if you  mention anything to do with sex for money and their work is done, you are going downtown. Under no circumstances let them lead you down this path of conversation (if you initiate conversation along these lines yourself, you get what you deserve!).

Case in point - I've had one brush with LE in my ten years of hobbying, which happened in the last year. Incall ad from a visiting girl,  mid 20's, hot, pics in her ad were really of her.  We were making small talk and there wasn't a single thing in the room or in her behavior that caused me concern that she might be LE. She sat on the bed and asked what I liked, and said she'd do greek for an extra amount, extra pops for extra dollars, etc.. I offered my response and on cue, in jump the goons from the adjoining room.  The girl tossed her hands up and said "we didn't get him". They reviewed their audio tapes and sure enough, let me go home, because I replied to her questioning with "how about we just start out with a massage". If I had said something like "I'm not into greek", or "I'd love a second shot on goal", my goose would have been cooked.

Looking back at my situation, there was absolutely nothing that tipped me off to possible LE. They knew the drill to a tee and had obviously done their homework. They used a 2 call system, on the phone even jokingly asked "you aren't a cop are you?". The appt was set in advance, she called the day before and left a message to confirm out appt. She had a laptop in the room with RS2K web page up, suitcase on the floor, lotions on the nightstand, during small talk she talked hobby related stuff like touring and reviews. Absolutely nothing seemed out of the ordinary. In fact, I was concerned about HER getting comfortable that I wasn't LE!! Go figure. They had me fooled and believe me, I'm the first one to walk away from any provider when I'm not comfortable with her for any reason once we meet. The only thing that stood out after that fact was that she was adamant that I have an ID with me. No ID, no appt, she was very clear. But this isn't really a sure fire tip off since many ladies do this as part of their own safety procedures.

Stick to well reviewed ladies as best you can. CL is definitely a place that LE targets, but it isn't the only place by any means. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure so do your homework in advance (google her phone #, search boards & reviews, etc..) and try to find some credible history on her before you call because once your in the room you probably won't have any clue at all that it's LE.

Hope this helps. Stay safe!
