i am a hobbyist who has seen my share of providers. i have tens of providers willing to vouch for me and provide a reference. at the same time a disagreement with one provider (who is unprofessional and also very wrong in our disagreement) has landed me on the national blacklist. what do you guys think…can two things be true…i’m fair and a gentleman to the other 99% of the providers i’ve seen and at the same time i’m dangerous and deserve to be blacklisted because i didn’t simp for this one particular provider? i need advice on clearing my name from the blacklist…

First of all, it really depends on the reason she places you on the BL. If it is really just a disagreement, and you two had an argument about something minor, I would say you will be fine as most women wont view you as a threat. But If you threatened or stalked her, that would be potentially be MUCH more problematic. The details really matter.
Imo, the new women you plan on seeing will take this on a case by case basis and judge you on the totality of the info you send them, i.e. how long have your refs known you and how often you have seen them, how strongly do they recommend you, do you have many oks from p411, or are you white listed here and the equivalent on other review sites, etc.
Clearing your name on the BL isnt going to happen in all likelihood. On the flip side, some women dont even bother to check them and there are several different ones as well. So, it's all a bit complicated. It just gets back to the severity of your infraction.

Are you trying to hide something?

I gave a bad review for a provider that gave bad service. She was pissed and threated to blacklist me. I don't know if she did or not. I haven't had porblems though. Also, I spoke to a few providers about it and they said they don't pay mind if another provider whines about bad reviews. She said most providers are savy enough to ignore silly reasons someone may be black listed. For her, she is more concerned about someone who may be a threat. If there is a question of safety, that's a no go. Other than that, it would be clients who don't pay up. Unless you did something really bad, I would not worry too much about it.

First and foremost, you will need to spill the beans as to why this provider put you on the BL.

New hobby name that you give to providers, new email,new burner phone number.
Pass this on to the three providers you trust most...and boom you're back in business with three solid references.  

If you only had a phone on file that isn't your real identity, there are obvious ways to fix it.

It is possible that 99% of your sessions and interactions are perfectly acceptable but that 1% were so off that the provider though you needed to be put on a BL.

I’ve never relied, or trusted a reference from anyone I did not know personally. I have never put anyone on a blacklist, nor has it been a deciding factor. I go off vibes, organic energy & intuition.

This comment will not be greeted warmly by some here, but many providers are borderline psycho.   In general even if you get ripped off, you should take the loss and walk away.  Yeah, you can publish a ripoff report.  But leave it at that.  Otherwise you are likely to find your pet rabbit boiling on your stove.

I've seen a series of posts over the years, referring to this legendary "blacklist".

The National Blacklist I knew ceased to exist years ago. It was a joke. Anyone could post fake BLs on it and they never came down. It was used during one of TER's epic shit-shows years ago, when people were BL-ing each other. Finally, I think TER actually stepped in. The one that I'd heard was legit was called something like SafeOffice and was used by a girl I knew. I don't know how to access it (if it still exists under that name) so I can't provide a link. But I don't doubt there's a least one actual BL site and maybe more.

I don't think it depends at all on the reason (her reason) she placed him on the blacklist.  That presumes both are reasonable.  It depends, rather, on the allegations she made against him on the blacklist.  The details really matter.

Being safe (to that provider), and paying her in full on time, is irrelevant (invisible to others), if she alleges that he threatened her and shortchanged her.

can be used to BL a customer to other providers, but it's a club you can't join on request, TER has milestones that must be met in the way of reviews and community presence just like they do for the RO board.  Since I can't access it, I cannot speak to its effectiveness for the purpose of exchanging intel on problem customers.

Many women will ignore a petty reason but not see a guy based on a black listing where she was threatened, harmed, stalked etc.  It's not "he said, she said" when the girls life could be on the line. Err on the side of caution is what any sane person would do.

Not the same, of course.

I have never disagreed that some clients are not only crazy, but dangerous.
