Considering my first male Brazilian waxing. Thoughts?

Just wondering how many of you out there get waxed regularly? I like to keep things very tight down there, but the shaving a few times a week has grown really old. How nervous where you the first time ? Painful? Just not sure what to expect for pain level down there. Or is getting this done to much manscaping? So if I decide to get waxed I will need a place near Chicago. If you have apace to recommend let me know.
I walked in there thinking "I have a bunch of tattoos, I'm badass. This'll be a piece of cake."
Cut to me screaming like that scene in 40-Year-Old Virgin. I'm not going to sugarcoat it for you: it fucking hurts. My vulva looked like a triangular tomato when it was all over.
That said, I'd still recommend it. I had my second one done last week (much less hair, therefore much less pain) and I've probably saved hours of shower time that would have normally been spent shaving. The best part is that I no longer have to deal with razor burn and it makes more sense economically as well. Razor cartridges are fucking expensive and when you have thick, black, wiry body hair like I do, one cartridge only last a couple of days at the most. If you're sick of shaving, I say go for it.

I think you will be very pleased with the end results if you go to a reputable place.I would suggest going to yelp and reading the reviews before going anywhere.
asking the place you are thinking about going to see if they offer any products that will help with the pain.
Some waxing places have products you can buy that will help when they are ripping off the strips.

Well,the drink helped until I got in the room with the lady who was doing my wax and after that first strip being waxed off I thought I was going to leap or fall off the table.
It got better(a little)as she moved on to other areas.But,I am not going to lie to you that shit hurts!period.

I think its a great idea. Waxing is less painful the more you do it, .I would recomend finding a european wax center and buying the products they carry a ingrown hair serum, and a special pre waxing scrub, If you use them together it takes the process to a way easier and faster experience, like 100 percent, I d highly recomend thier products. and that place. I am unsure if they do men, i think you gotta find special place for men. Youl like it, I swear by waxing.
They've been doing me for the past 18 months. And it does get easier. But as far as I can tell that serum crap doesn't work. I also take a bunch of Tylenol before I go in.
PS: Baby, I got my first tat in Costa Rica last month. Really must show it to you. Got my back waxed in CR, too. Better at Euro Wax Center by far, but it had to be done.
