My question is is it ok to see someone after a dental cleaning? Same day appointment, and is that something that should be disclosed? I recall reading someone once mention he has a no floss rule on the day of an appointment. Would think dentist cleaning is more orally invasive. Or is it downright unsafe?
Not see someone the same day just incase your gums bleed or you get an abrasion during cleaning. Gums are definitely one way to catch something orally UNLESS you don't plan on kissing or anything oral. XOXO TL
Alcohol is a known cause of oral cancers. Listerine has the highest alcohol content of all mouthwashes.
My dentist cautioned me away from using it. Instead she recommended Act green mouthwash. It has no alcohol.
If your gums bleed at all, then have no oral sex involving your mouth. If your gums are healthy however, that's usually not a problem if your dental hygienist knows what they are doing.
