that this is a place for stimulating topics of conversation. though... i havn't seen much of that.
to be honest...
from what i've seen, it's mostly a bunch of people sitting around bashing each other-
like troglodytes that (god forbid) figured out how to use a keyboard.
just saying :)

This is why the GD Board is crap most days.  There has to be an appropriate forum out there for "men" to act like children, this just doesn't seem like the one.  It could be so much more.  But unmoderated?  Not going to happen/

TER sort of 'cleaned house'  to lighten things up and broaden participation perhaps? After a while, new personalities stepped into those emptied shoes. Some of those that stepped in were second tier personalities from the old rough and tumble days. Some were new.  Now the board is right back to where it was. Except it is not nearly as interesting.

We are missing a substantial amount of personalities that made this board interesting. That coupled with the elimination of multiple aliases has further crippled the boards.

The GD Board has made somewhat of a resurgence (primarily by volume), but most of the regional boards are still boring and devoid of real discussions.
