When I am touring, I am meticulous about my calendar. I've been on hiatus for a couple years, but will be back in April-- my home market (Cincinnati) is fairly soft, so touring is generally my preference. I find that maintaining my calendar does help. Yes, some gents don't pay attention to it, but that's true for every other piece of information we put out as well, from rates to requirements. The guys who do pay attention to those things, appreciate us taking the time to keep things up to date.
I do like the P411 calendar feature and appreciate those who keep it up to date. If I had one suggestion it would be to make sure to update information across all the platforms where you advertise. Seems like if one is going to keep an active presence on multiple sites (personal website, P411, Twitter, and Tryst for example), the least they can do is take the time to update said information on all of them.
I always take a look, although it seems that more often than not it's bare.
Since I make initial contact through P411 it's easy enough to check it out.
I look at it. Many are up to date, but some are worthless (empty or outdated). I also look at the provider’s web site, if she has one.
If there’s no calendar, I go by the provider’s published “office hours”, if they’re there.
bad at updating my P411 calendar but great about updating my personal website calendar. To be fair, I've considered getting rid of the calendar though because based on analytics, it's my 5th highest performing page so I'm not sure it's necessary anymore.
Also, I'm hearing so many conflicting reports. Some clients say if your calendar looks bare, then you must not be popular but if you're calendar is too full, then you're not exclusive enough. It's an odd balancing act.
I never had any of those feelings after looking at a lady's calendar. For me, it's pretty much a non-issue. I never assume that calendar's are updated since it seems that many ladies don't really use them or keep them updated.
I look. However, most calendars are not up to date, and some only show past dates. Even if they show future dates, they usually aren't reliable. It is only of use to get a hint at when (or if) she is coming to my area and to look out for ads or her own website calendar to see when she is actually available.
If a gal fills it out and keeps it up to date, it is worth her while. However, revealed preference suggests that most don't find it worth the trouble.
I try to keep mine updated but as a traveling lady sometimes I do not add availability/cities months in advance unless I'm certain.
Sometimes I forget to update P411 calendar but I do update my website and other sites

IF I see "Visiting" I will first check pictures, then price. Price usually knocks me out, but if reasonable then I'll check the calendar to see when they are visiting. If I don't know when they are visiting, it's kind of pointless.
I forgot about the calendar....
And probably still won't use it..
I don't use P411 that much when traveling..
A arcuate calendar is a great tool when you have a particular time slot to hobby. If its not up to date I will move on and check other options before I start checking numerous websites.

i definitely appreciate it when it’s on 411. 
Since I'm no longer a P411 member, that's mot. I do look for a schedule on a provider's website. However, they are often out of date or blank when it is there at all. Since I always look for a provider's personal site it would be helpful rather than searching Twitter, Instagram etc.
I always make sure I update my 411 calendar. It’s easier when I receive a message , see the day I’m around , book. See me

I put my tours on p411 and it goes on my calendar automatically. For example I'm touring Tysons and Philly this month and those should be on my calendar.
Then I have Jersey City and Long Island tour dates as well because I can easily go between NYC, Jersey City and Long Island by request.
