I notice that some providers prefer not to see "men of color". I know everyone has the right to choose who they will see but I can honestly say it is very disappointing - especially in this type of business. There are some very hot providers with very hot websites but personally, I think it’s a big turnoff when they don't see hobbyist because of race. But I guess the same can be said about age preference. Too Bad...
Sorry about using an alias but I don't want to get "black" listed.
Hey, c'mon.....You know providers are usually cool.....We all know about brothers being big/lasting long & a pro does not want to be worn out. And please, to those of you who think it's a myth: IT IS NO MYTH!
we have discussed this topic often, and it produces a lot of heat and occassionally some light
i don't blame you for the alias
Yes, it is sad that we don't live in a color blind world. Prejudice has always been around and always will. Wheather it's race, religion or even differences within one's own race.
It will never go away completly. Yes, it is a provider's right to not see certain gents. I'm sure they all have their own reasons. (maybe some are afraid of the legendary endowment.)
It isn't something that will change unless the individual chooses to do so. The best thing to do is shrug and move on to another provider that does not have race restrictions. Don't let it get to you as it's not anything you can change.
I think for every provider that does'nt see black men, there are twice as many that will. No, not an official statistic LOL. There are many of us that are semi color blind...the only color we accept is GREEN!!!
JMHO,
MEOW!
Rejection means an ATF could be that next call.

I guess for the same reason that porn stars dont cross the color barrier... because some guys dont want to see it! I personally prefer a girl who stays in her race, just like many black guys scorn black women that go white, so dont act all oppressed!
...and just trying to get a gripe out there. I don't blame you for the alias either in this case but it seems to me the question is pretty much moot. Some ladies won't see Hispanics, some won't see Asians, some won't see young guys or fat guys or guys that smell bad or guys that play too rough or guys that have 12" dicks or guys with fetishes and on and on...
Escorting is a job but it is just about the most intimate job there is. What a woman chooses to do with her own body and, for that matter, what she charges for it, who she sees or doesn't see is her business and, in my opinion, not really open to public scrutiny.
it is a shame some people have those perceptions/biases, but if I am laying out $200-$400, I'd rather be afforded the opportunity to avoid what likely would not be a GFE time, than have a provider take the money and only give a mediocre experience.
Sorry about your experience. I don't base my decision to see a client on their race, but on screening.
However, I'm sure gents have their own preference of ladies; race, age, body type, etc. Some gents probably wouldn't see certain types of ladies. We just can't change people's preference.

Personally speaking for my self, As a woman of color...I use to shy away from young men of color(27-35)Thinking that i would be worn out or even given a harder time.......But i tell u what, after a few years of expierience in this hobby...Lets just say ive had my fair share of white cocks and to think that in 2008 there arent big dick white men with stamina...you got something coming!!
On another note, I totally agree with Rina...its all about screening.Atleast my decision is..and dont forget,This is a hobby of preference,Plus ...its just healthy to respect a ladies choice..ciao

we now live in an age where we've black men (and white women) on the Supreme Court, We've black mayors, congressmen and senators... as well as star actors, actresses (who would not like to be Will Smith!??? or Denzel Washington - heck, I would settle for Laurence Fishburne), and my fave? Neil deGrasse Tyson - spokesman for the cosmos. One cannot help but listen or read his thoughts without thinking that indeed all are created equal - some - in the case of Dr. Tyson (most modestly, he does not refer to his doctorate) a bit more equal than the rest of us.
When I hear of a person rejecting a person of color (black, white, green or whatever) I wonder, would they reject Will Smith - or for that matter Dr. Tyson (good lookin dude)?
but look at where we are... a black man - running a real race for the nomination of his party as a candidate for the office of POTUS. And who is his current opponent - a white woman.
What I like about Obamma is what he wrote in his autobiography "Dreams of my Father"... maybe race plays a role in his tale, but it is also a story of a boy/man making decisions as to how he wants his life to turn out... and deciding to be a force for the positive - and not the negative... certainly not my candidate, but clearly someone I like.
This transformation - from segregation - to the current situation has occured IN MY LIFETIME! We do see holdovers... but much as the dinosaurs, those thoughts and prejudices will die... painfully... remember when integration was first proposed... in some peoples' minds (NORTH AND SOUTH, EAST AND WEST) it was like showing mammal charts to dinosaurs...
What I hope does not happen, is a slippage back... Obamma will win - or loose - I would hope based upon what he proposes to do if elected, and not on the basis of the color of his skin. And wouldn't that be good?
I would hope that a woman would see, or reject, a man based upon his individual reputation - and not on the basis of the color of his skin, or his eyes...
as to me? I know when I click with a provider... it is hard to miss. I also know when despite the fact that we are both nice people, with great intentions, it ain't gonna happen...
Ok, now lets reverse the situation - men - are you rejected by a black provider because you are white? or would you not see a black provider because she is black? would that Beyounce provides... is all that I have to offer.
yea, sorry about the situation.... it is changing - perhaps not fast enough, but it is changing....
This is a foolishly pointless rant. of course there are black girls that dont see white men! maybe the white girls dont see black men because they dont wanna be roughed up... it doesnt matter if hillary or barack wins the primary, either one will lose the general election...
Why did you feel it necessary to participate?
Seriously honey not all of us are like that. I don't discriminate on color I only discriminate on intelligence. If a man is as dumb as a rock then he's not getting a chance to see me regardless of color. Size? Are you freaking kidding me? I just went to Philadelphia and saw probably every white guy in the city with a Magnum XL cock then.
It's not just black guys who have larger than average sized tools and not all black guys are assholes or like to screw like it's the last Coochie they're going to get.
There are many many guys I have seen of color who are respectful, considerate and great lovers. You need to just pass on by the girls who don't see men of color and see women who do.
The only color I absolutely love is green.
who got this and to which early tv show am I referring???
Not sure were you are but I see everyone xoxox
Let's cut out all the bullshit about penis size and all that. One only has to read crime stats. for black men in America and realize that it is prudent for ones safety, to not be alone in an intimate setting one one with a black male
A provider said she got robbed several times. Once by a white, once by a hispanic, and three times by blacks. So she went by the statistics.
...please tell me this is just a bad joke, and someone isn't actually flaunting their ignorance and racism on this board.
ditto that.

I enjoy men of all colors, heights, political affiliations etc. For me, a date is lovable if he is kind, interesting and charismatic, and these qualities are skin deep, not something that one can judge based on the skin color of a man.--sitara

When I started in L.A., girls said not to see black men because they didn't pay, would hurt you, and all sorts of stereotypical crap.
As an indie, I choose who I see on a variety of things and race isn't one of them. The men I choose typically are educated (your posts and email contact really convey this,) kind, normal gents who are just all about fun. The formula I apply hasn't steered me wrong yet. It's the ones I've rethought and considered giving chances to (men of all races, I might add,) who turn out to be weird and sketchy. I cancelled on one due to my grandfather's heart attack and got a slew of emails threatening to give me a bad review though we had not met. I straightened it out, but thought wow, I guess I really dodged that bullet.
Back to the point, though, ladies have all sorts of indicators they use to judge whether the guy will be fun and safe. Sometimes it's race, reviews, car, occupation, you name it. It's not just all about race and if a lady turns you down, it's not necessarily about race, either. If you are floating out there on some DNS list, you're screwed out of seeing some ladies regardless of other indicators.

in my last 2 years at work we hired quite a few people who had emigrated from Africa and SE Asia. Over 75 per cent or these people tested positive on their Mantoux, a test for TB. As someone who sees providers, I have a strong interest in who they see.
how can you say " especially in this business"
You make it sound like being in this biz we should see anyone who ever and have no preference what so ever. Thats bs Especially in this biz which by nature is intimate, they have more choices than a waitress who she waits on. We are not desensatized, or we shouldn't be.
We have preferences and some of us more than others. I don't see anyone under 36yrs old I prefer the Gents I see to be in their 40s and 50s Thats my choice and too bad if you don't like it.
but I do have a cute way of "hopping on and off."
To each their own and for those who don't see anyone because of race, gender, or age this is all I have to say,
"Can't we all fuck and get along" Peace and Love!Everybody, Peace and Love!
Just as the title says: get over yourself.
Especially in this type of business? I love that hobbyists believe that their money overrides all everything and that ultimately we're all money robots.
Would you prefer that a girl who isn't attracted to a man of color fake it through a session with him?
Many clients have a thing for blondes and refuse to see redheads-do you complain about them too?
Shut up-this subject is trite, overdone and stupid.
