the guys use one name to post under and another to review under, which, you already know drives me nuts..(which we already covered long ago, but it still drives me nuts!)
Reviews can only be turned in using your TER handle. An alias can only be used on the boards. Look next to the name of the person posting when you open the thread. If there is an envelope showing next to the name, then it is that mans/womans actual handle. An alias will not have the envelope showing next to the name.

I must have missed that one sedona, why would it bother YOU? that's like saying it's ok for providers to keep their identities private but hobbyist's have to reveal theirs. oh wait a minute, that actually is the case!
Although we've been through this twice before and I don't want to annoy those that have seen it to see it again, so pass on this post guys..
But, when a gentleman asks me/us for a date, we like to know if they are a TER member. If so, what's their handle so we can read their posts and get a feel for how they think, different things to talk about, a feel for their personality. If they review under a different name, it helps to KNOW that, so we can read their reviews - get a feel for what type of ladies he enjoys seeing, what things he likes or doesn't like during a session, HOW he writes his reviews, etc. If his reviews are vulgar, un-gentlemanly, too graphic or disrespectful, that pretty much is an easy decision for me. These TWO pieces TOGETHER are a part of my 'homework' and screening on the man.
The guys have explained why they WON'T give out the information, and I UNDERSTAND their reasons, but I don't AGREE with them. There is too much important information that I need and to deliberately NOT be given that means I'm making an uninformed decision which may be the deciding factor in itself.
Actually, if there's no envelope, it does always mean it's an alias, see attached thread. There is no way to know who it really is if someone is posting under an alias unless they happen to admit to it being their alias or you can by chance figure out who it is, that's why people use them Personally, i don't care for the use of them, for reasons like Sedona mentioned and others, but hey, what do i know.

if by "chance" you mean "accidentally" then you are right
if by "chance" you mean "probabilistically" you are also right
of course, it's when they won't admit to it that it's truly left to "chance" (if by "chance" one means "risk")
