I don't know anyone on this thread, though I've read alot of posts by them and found them helpful, and I don't know Ms Taylor Steele, but (a) I found her comments very thoughtful and interesting and (b) it is supposed to be a discussion board, right?  Let's let the viewpoints fly -- at worst, you learn nothing from someone's post; at best, you learn something new.   Thanks, Taylor, for an interesting perspective.

Frankly her posts/threads are always thought provoking and she doesnt mind mixing it up with the boys so kudos for that. I dont agree with her often but who cares? Thats what a board is for afterall, isnt it?

Her subject matter has a lot to be desired and some of it seems to come from some free online women's forums with her own twist to make it compliant with the rules here.

Her answers on the threads which are more unscripted give us a better clue, now don't they?

Clearly her phone is cold from lack of flesh to warm it and she has too much time on her hands, but it is not hard to skip over some of her nauseating posts or at least not spend any brain cells on them.

I am not picking on her, because she is not the only person here who shouts from the top of the mountain while trying to figure out how to get back down.

If you don't agree with something she says in a thread why not simply engage her in that thread? At least then we might know what particular opinion you have an opposing viewpoint on.  Who knows, some intelligent discussion may even evolve.  This entire practice of starting a thread simply to dog another poster has always escaped me.

To be honest, I couldn't quote from memory what MTS's opinion is on anything.  The same goes for most of the other posters that none of us are supposed to like.  I just don't take a message board on the internet all that seriously I guess.

I can speak for anyone else, but I have plenty of time on my hands because I am the boss and I can do whatever the fuck I want at the office. You don't have to fuck five guys a day, and I don't have a boss breathing down my neck.

Of course the big difference is, People like OUR posts, hers are boring IMO, but that's just my opinion. I do find it amusing that you, as a board bitch don't have to kiss anyone's ass, and I , as  a board asshole feel the same way, and we seem to get along. I think the difference between us and her, is we don't paint with as broad a brush as she seems to. Speaking in such broad generalities is usually a good way to alienate people who don't fit into her pigeon holes.

That was the ONLY part of your post I took issue with. The rest is simply your opinion which you have a right to, but to say that because she can post a lot suggests she is somehow worse than a girl on her back 12 hours a day, is crazy. I think she may not articulate her point the way she intends to come across at times, but I also see nothing wrong with her posts in general. Nowhere near as "in your face" as mine are.

We all have to find our way on this board, and that's all I think she is doing. No one is going to be liked by everyone, obviously. You did not care much for me either at first, and now look at us bwahahhaa.

and I reserve the right to change my mind about her. Truth be told many of my best friends here started off that way.

BTW I could care less about her price point, if at age 43 she can still command a grand, good for her. She obviously won't be getting it from me, but I certainly don't begrudge her for it. I've lost track of the number of people who find me grossly overpaid as well, so I won't be casting that particular stone.

I am sure that when (if) she stops with the sweeping generalities, I will soften my stance on her. In the meantime it does make her come off as the "conscience" of the board. Posts that start off with "why do all of you....." tend to tick off a lot of people, and I don't find them particularly endearing myself.

Actually I find it rather amusing when newbies come onto this board claiming to have knowledge that the rest of us haven't figured out after decades of doing this, and then watching them get their panties all twisted in a knot trying to defend statements that are just plain indefensible.

If you hadn't noticed the harshest thing I have called her all day was "boring" and "tedius" she is the one calling people idiots, and not just me. Anyone who has ever known me here, knows I have no problems taking off the gloves and REALLY going at it, but it just seemed so unfair, she is defenseless in a trash talking contest, or any other battle of wits from what she has shown here so far.

No I will give her some time to season, she's only been here for four months. I don't want to run her off the board, I just want her to think about what she says, and the error of painting with such a broad brush, not to mention knock her down just a peg or two, not much, but just enough to realize that she is still in the learning phase and is far from graduating to the teaching phase.

You make a great point about "life experiences"... as I've come across individuals older than myself who don't have a clue and still have the mind-set of a teenager. Some individuals are just more prone to maturity at a younger age, and some are forced to grow up more quickly than others, due to circumstances in their life. It really has nothing to do with an individuals age, but their maturity level. And then you have the group of individuals who "think" they have it all together in their mind...but in reality don't have a clue. You have individuals who have been through more in their life than those three times their age...sometimes it increases their maturity levels, & other times it works exactly the opposite, & they are forever stuck in the mind-frame of when things in life first started to go wrong & can never get over it.
