It sounds just as stupid now.  

I just posted the article. Putting condoms down the drain is something I don't do.  

Or the police my find you in the drain.

But I see condoms flushed down toilets all the time, and it's one of my pet peeves.  It's bad for the environment, it raises hotel costs for all of us, and, as the article indicates, it can get someone busted.  Ladies, PLEASE use a plastic bag to dispose of your condoms, and throw it in the gas station trash when you're filling your tank.

I stop at a store or gym to throw mine out.

Why not wrap them in tissue and throw them in the trash like a regular adult human?
