So, over 2 weeks ago I sent an e-mail to a provider. I gave all the information I needed and I never got a response back from the provider. I sent another e-mail to a different e-mail account I found on here. Shortly after, I received a e-mail back asking which day, because the day I requested already come and gone. I selected a different date and never got a response back from the provider. This really bugged me. A lot of providers that I see posting on here talk about this as their business. I have to rule out the fact that the provider was "busy". At first, I wanted to give the provider the benefit of the doubt that, she may be busy, on vacation or is completely booked. Over the last week or so, I saw the provider posting ads on another website, everyday. Again, that bugged me. Tonight I received a e-mail from my original e-mail I sent over 2 weeks ago. I don't see how this is good business, or instills a good reputation. I was drooling over this girl 2 weeks ago. Now, not so much. I've been with a couple providers now and both had their shit together. And another, I'm trying to set something up with but our schedules conflict, but she's staying in contact with me to make sure we set something up.

Is there a point where providers don't care anymore and they think clients will be coming by the truck load? But, once the truck comes up empty, it's time to pick up the scraps? I'm trying to handle phone calls/e-mails(at least pre-date) as a business. It bugs me that providers act as this is a business, but do not treat it as one. Annoying! I will probably feel better about it tomorrow.

After this gal ignored your initial emails, you should have just ignored hers and moved on.

Not every professional companion practices terrible customer service. I am sorry you had to deal with this though. Tomorrow is a new day!

Sometimes, they may view your TER handle and make a judgement that you r an inexperience hobbyist. I am not making that determination, its just an element that I wanted to point out. Also, since you only have 1 review, it is unlikely that you will also have multiple references. With some providers, they may require a minimum of 2 references. In addition with the two references, they may also want to check other factors such as white list, 411, datecheck, and other variables to secure a client.

I understand that you may view it as unprofessional because of the delayed responses. However, you must also take into account how the provider may screen her clients. Now, just because you e-mail a provider, that does not necessarily guarantee an immediate response. In addition to your own, they must also consider other clients that may be well suited for their comfort.

These r just the points I am making. You should not be discourage with the tardy responses. There r plenty of fishes in the sea. It may be daunting to minimize your choices of only 1 or 2 providers, especially if they are well reviewed providers. They may screen their clients more thoroughly than others.

My advice: if you have 411, datecheck, or any verifiable website, it makes the screening process easier for the provider. Some providers may view a handle with only one review as suspicious, and may thwart their attempts at securing an appointment. Hence, you may be the last pick from the barrel. I would recommend getting verified first, secure a provider that can whitelist you, and build your resume. Hope I was able to help.

A thought: providers have a difficult job. We as clients r only there for P4P. We may assume or expect on how providers should properly run their business. But, we ourselves have to take into consideration of why the event took place and reflect on it. Its not always easy, but once you have gain enough experience, then it should be a bit easier. Hope that make sense.

Venting where you can never hurts first. You've learned quicker than some. There are bad apples on both ends..... even though you feel slighted she could've still overlooked you and maybe not on purpose (eh more often than not i'm a 2nd chance type of person if I feel the situation is redeemable). If she was genuinely that swamped it might be a good idea for her to get an assistant.

You sort of answered your own question but for the sake of chiming in yeah sure... there will always be some no matter what they do or how they act will always have their shills and appts rolling in more than they can deal with.  In time you'll see who appreciates your business and who doesn't.

I don't intend on speaking for the ladies but I do know for a fact that the answer to your "Is there a point where providers don't care anymore and they think clients will be coming by the truck load?" is a resounding YES.  

In this economic slump, your "average provider" will probably have a lot more free time and should not be overwhelmed.

However, there are some drop dead gorgeous top tier ladies whose business is going so well that they choose not to advertise any more. These ladies are typically too overwhelmed by demand, that they choose to either raise their price or go under the radar.

Some give out a different number and a different email than what's listed on their TER profiles or website to a very select group of clients whom they are more comfortable with.

Some just ignore new clients all together.

Some find a sugar daddy or find some sort of long term exclusive arrangement.  

Some just bump the ones that book short 1 or 90 minute sessions, and stick to clients that book multi hour. Of course there's also some who don't have many clients but are just bad with email and never check.  However, the other reasons mentioned above are factual rather than my speculation.

Actually, we do have J.D. Power ratings for providers.  It's called TER.  But there will always be providers in this weird little "business" who don't run their business well, or for a myriad of reasons just can't get back to everybody.  Move on and stick with well-reviewed girls.

I never try and analyze why a provider does or doesn't do something, like answer an email, or numerous other things. Once you've been hobbying awhile you'll realize there are all levels of customer service in the hobby. And just because you read a review of great customer sevice, doesn't mean you'll have the same experience. Just move on.

Situations like this are very common, in my experience.

I'm traveling to Memphis and Little Rock at the end of the week, and I did my normal TER search of providers in both areas.  I was able to get a response from a Little Rock provider on the first try. I contacted three providers (a week apart) before I finally got an answer from a provider in Memphis.

I use a very polite letter of introduction and use Preferred 411 as well. Why don't some providers answer? I'll certainly never find out. Is it frustrating when someone who really appeals to you doesn't answer? Of course it is.

But is it characteristic of the hobby? Yes - I'll say that I've seen 75% of the providers I've tried to contact over the last ten years. Not such a bad percentage when you take the long view.

I have a regular I see for body rubs who is independent and very careful about who she sees, and she tells me that for a single ad (DC area), she normally gets 50 to 70 responses, and may actually end up seeing only about 5 of those or so.  Not geting an immediate response is not a good sign, but don't automatically assume it's a non-chalant attitude.  These ladies have lives and extend themselves a little too much sometimes and end up not being as prompt as they should be.

I am the *hobbiest provider*- if you will.  I treat this as my own hobby and profitable dating program.  I do this for fun.  I am often traveling for other work and don't regularly check my email.   I ask that people not treat me as a business.  When one emails me, I want to know about him.  

I try to read your personality through emails.  If I sense impatience, annoyance, sterileness,  or anything of the sort, I will not  book.  If I think we will have a good time and that our personalities mesh, I will screen you.  Then I will book a date when I am available.    Usually this opens the door to many dates and a flood of great communication.  I have never flaked on a date and I do "have my shit together".  

I often get overwhelmed by emails but certainly don't mind persistence if you are kind about it.  Nevertheless,  it is likely easier to go ahead and book another girl.  I  would much rather you do that if you don't have patience for me to respond.  

I understand this is not viewed as the best "customer service" or "business practice"...  But at the same time, this is where I like to be treated as a "person" more than a "business".  When I sense things becoming clinical, I steer clear.  Honestly...  this post of yours makes me believe you and I would not go well together, lol!  The word "annoying" made me blanch. I am sure you would think that of me with the time it takes me to respond!  

I know my methods are not typical provider behavior.  I am thankful for the guys that put up with me!  After I screen, when I'm in town, setting up dates is usually a breeze!  Whatever I'm doing, it's working for me because I love, love, love my regulars and my playtime!  My spidey sense rarely fails me.  

I do hope you feel better and am sorry for the lengthy response.  I just thought it might help you understand the point of view of one provider who sucks at initial communication.  Call it "bad business" or whatever...  

Anyway, there are gazillions of hot providers that will respond to you in a timely manner.  You should not spend time being annoyed, but move on to the next girl!

some ladies being better in performance or appearance than others.  There is a place for all open minded ladies who want to enhance their income.  For me the decission is mostly made because I will receive good value for my dollar.  But, if I don't hear back from a lady, I will move on to the next.
