I know how often I can play...  approximately...    I save up excess pocket cash & only play when I have enough.   One must be very disiplined...  like other luxuries (or vices) it is possible to bankrupt oneself.
Never play with rtent or morgage, grocery money.  I will not withdraw from saving for play.  I did bump my pocket money when I first started.  Each week I set asside my left over & take the same weekly pocket money from my check.  Also has the benifit that withdrawals are not linked to dates & times I'm AWOL.

I tend to be of the philosophy that anything worth doing is worth overdoing so I have to watch myself with the hobby.

I've learned to put money away in a hobby fund and also to think much more with the big head about the ladies who are more likely to be able to provide an experience that's worth $$$-$$$$$ per hour.

But seriously, the hobby shouldn't be a ticket to the poor house.

Like anything else, it requires budgeting and yes, I have had to do a bit less hobbying of late than I am accustomed to on account of the economy.

It sucks, but hey, at least I still have a home and food.

I have a yearly budget and per-instance maximum. I've never run into trouble because I don't book that many appointments. Even when I want to schedule an appointment, sometimes other priorities take precedence because a hobby, by definition, is not a priority.

Man only needs water and small amounts of food to survive. Pussy and paid pussy is the same as a luxury tax. If you don't buy it every month, so be it. Do you need to set a budget? Sure, if you have little or no self-control. The ladies depend on your discretionary income for such luxury items and will be there, year in and out. the names and faces may change, but pussy will be a steady commodity in the future. Ladies may discount it, but I've yet to meet anyone to give it for free. Pace yourself in the future. Don't be known as Tim. That's ATM for those that don't know.

That's going at a pretty good clip. And since you said 2 providers almost broke you. since you can only review them once, I'm guessing you were going at almost once a week. That's a pretty good clip! I usually see 2,3,or 4 a month, but I'm a lucky guy, I've got the funds.

Even so, it is a lot of money. But I have recently given up a number of other vices (dining out and drinking are both way down), for mostly unrelated reasons, so without doing the math, I suspect I am not that far off in my total expenditures.

And it is a wonderful tradeoff - beautiful ladies in exchange for a few bottles of wine. I still eat well, just do a lot more cooking at home and overall the food is probably better. Bottom line - I feel better in just about every way and am having a ball. Vive la femme!!

am eagerly awaiting my first encounter in over 5 months.  Mine was due to job responsibilities (I have some time to play now) not budget concerns.

I had to take a step back a while ago cause it was becoming to much. It can definitely get out control if you let it. I was young and dumb and with CC's and I quickly learned the hard way not to go about this hobby.

Now I definitely need a budget and I've got one already set that will possibly allow me to see someone once a month.

Hopefully everything goes according to plan. But we'll see.

I make really good money, but when I actually sat down and added up the numbers...........I was so shocked, that I didn't realize I had spent that much.

My problem was the spot I go tp was only a few mins away, so I could drive over to the spot in no time. I also had a lot of the girls offering me speicals, so I would have three sessions a week.

I don't really budget, but I definitely prefer quality over quantity.  I have only see 4 providers in 2010.  All were for 2 to 3 hour appointments each and each one was an incredible experience.  I have paid about $2,500.00 this year, but to me it was worth it because each experience was unique and memorable.  I used to spend more and see many ladies each year.  Many times I would leave an appointment very disappointed.  So, I decided to do a lot of research and read several reviews. Now I get my money's worth.
