What injury kept you from hobbying?

In the past I’ve had broken fingers and a broken hand that did not keep me on the bench. Obviously a few hernia surgeries kept me on the sidelines for a while.

Now a broken ankle - can’t drive. I am seriously considering an Uber so I can get this itch scratched.

to stop me from seeing providers.  I’ve had to take a few short breaks over the years for illness, though.

 
Yeah, get a ride and scratch that itch. Staying away only because of a broken ankle is a limp excuse.
